I'm catching up on GRT and other rail trail videos. I found yours. We actually passed one another that day. I remember you three and particularly your cool bike.
This is a beautiful bike trail. I need to look up more information about it and hopefully will ride it myself one day. That tunnel was pretty long and dark. All trail looks really cool. 👍
Did you do the ride on a single charge for the Himiway? Did you charge it overnight somewhere or have some kind of brick charger to give it some juice to get you to the end? TIA.
The Greenbrier trail is beautiful

Thanks, Same to you.
Perfect example that every bike is a bikepacking/touring bike.
Looks very peaceful and pretty!
Would highly recommend it.

Yea, it's is a very peaceful ride.
Amazing this used to be a railroad.
Think of the work and expense it took to covert to a bike trail.
nice little video.
Thanks 😁
@@disorderlyjourneys Going to attempt a Cass to Caldwell and back last week of February 2024. Hopefully I catch a break from the weather 😂
Cool! Is this by Williamson?
No, it is by Lewisburg and Cass Railroad

One battery did the job. I didnt use the motor a lot I tried to do most of it myself but ya know...sometimes ya get tired lol.
How long did it take to ride this? I was just at the Greenbrier and drove over to the trailhead.
We did it in 3 days but it can be done faster for sure. We took our time.
How were the water sources?
They had wells with old fashion hand pumps. Make sure you fill up when you can.
@@disorderlyjourneys do you think carrying 2 liters is good? I will be backpacking the trail.
Should be ok depending on temps, I would recommend a water filter just in case. The river is always in reach almost the entirety of the trail.
