- Today I visit Mar Chiquita in Manati, Puerto Rico along with my sister. The beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. If you are ever in the island this is a place you must visit.

I was born in manati .n.i use to go swimming on weekends .I love it am from barrio cortes .beautiful weather all d.time you have to visit.
Awwww, Manati was the town my son was born in, that was 27 years ago. Still as beautiful as ever with its pristine water !
I would go back in a heart beat. I haven't been downtown, but will in the near future.

We were there in mid-March 2018 approximately 6 months post-Maria. We were first-time visitors to PR, so have no real-time way of comparing, but found it to be in great shape. Thank you for your excellent video!! Mar Chiquita is absolutely gorgeous!! Just enough other beach-goers around made for a convivial day. If I lived anywhere near this beach I'd never get any work done ;-) The drive alone, going into and away from, this place is incredibly beautiful.

I didn't even know this beach existed until 30 days before this trip to the island. When I found out, I just had to make the trip. It's an outstanding beach! Gotta go there again...

From Myrtle Beach S C .......make sure you check out the natural caves right across the street from Mar Chiquita such a majestic place. Lived in Manati for 4 months and the people there are Mucho Bueno!

Mi esposo es de las Parcelas Márquez y me dice que después de las rocas eso es mar abierto completo. Tuve la oportunidad de ir en el 2007 y de verdad es hermosa una de las playas más bellas de la isla.
No hay otra como esta playa en el mundo entero. Quiero ir otra vez en el futuro. Saludos.

It's a must see beach. I found about it a few months before I visited the island. I am also from Jersey.
I'm going back to Puerto Rico this October, so I'll definitely be planning to see it.
I just made a year this past Thanksgiving living in NJ.
Grew up going that beach ... We like to keep it low key ... don't want to give developers(foreign/domestic) bad ideas and start messing things up out here ... They see things through different eyes .. greedy ppl don't see beauty, they see money and how they can exploit property on the island for their greedy selves and present a threat to our natural beauty. Thank you!

This is a fantastic beach and it's empty for most of the year except in summer and the water is crystal clear. Can't wait to make it there again.

That is a beautiful beach. I wasn't aware of it until just a few months ago. I highly recommend it to you Christian and to everyone else. The next time I visit Puerto Rico I am going back there.

Yes Mayra, it was during a weekday. But it was also a November. Not many people visit beaches other than summer.

Ovi Duran you welcome there’s a small rock on the left side of the beach n u can walk to it there’s a couple of small fishes.
I went here last year but i went to icacos island and culebra beach first wich makes this beach look ok in comparison to the calm crystal super clear waters of icacos and culebra so my sugestion is go here first then go to the others i mention
Icacos and Culebra have always been on my list. Gotta make it there one day.
Y pensar que esa playita encapsulada es algo peligrosa con sus fuertes corrientes.
Es peligrosa si haces mal udo de ella y en días de marejadas altas..Todo mar es peligroso y ese es el océano Atlántico.
I'm not against responsible development for the benefit of the island and our ppl, but that hasn't been the case much of the time here in PR. Way too many crooked politicians for that small island. There's more senators and congressman on that island than that of the USA loll .. sickening to say the least.
What day of the week was it that you went there? I hear that Mar Chiquita can be really at times... but I've never been there yet.
