I too adore this movie. Cary Grant was (and for me still IS) the greatest actor of all time. Timeless classic movie, even today it is unbelievably better than all the crap on the television. I wish Cary Grant was still alive... how many things would modern actors learn from him...
If Cary Grant were alive today? He would outraged at the junk that is being seen on tv and in the movies today..and I'm sure..Irvine..that he would not want to perform in any of those films and tv shows..today.
i love this movie. no boubt the best actor ever.
that's my hovel..!
It is not funny at all to children who have been abused by alcoholic parents.
And who also laughed at this film . Identifying with his desperation to get a drink.
. laughing at their own addiction.
What is he doing using binoculars to spy on little girls?
Don't excuse his alcoholism.
Here goes my first comment on youtube...
My relationship with this movie exactly, feminaprovita24! I make references to this movie with my dad everytime I see him, and I'm 22. Old? Father Goose? NEVER!
I was a small child when this movie came out. I am 62 now
and I always enjoyed watching this movie.Great
adventure,being a coast watcher during World War2,
and stuck with a school teacher and her girl's!
Then she hides the whiskey in the stove after this. Since she knows he wont check it again.
