I’m an early childhood educator and I work in a toddler classroom (1.5-2.5) and I have to say Maisy’s shape and colour recognition and fine motor skills are very impressive for a 2 year old!!
She was talking sooo early as well. One smart little cookie!
She amazes me, and the difference between boy and girl learning is hilarious (imo).
I'm one as well and Her vocabulary is off the charts too!
I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Her expressions are also spot on when she’s talking about something. Definitely way ahead for her age.

Maisy’s reaction to seeing the Christmas tree filled with gifts is the true magic of Christmas. That really touched my heart. My boys are older now and I don’t get that magical feeling with them anymore. Enjoy those moments. The years go by so fast. Glad you had an amazing Christmas
My son is 2 as well and I feel like this is one of the most fun ages for Christmas. Just seeing the pure joy and excitement on their faces and it could be just one toy and they would be happy. Hearing Maisy say Merry Christmas to you melts my heart. Looks like you had a great Christmas ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your family. My daughter is older than you and unfortunatley she was not blessed with children so I have no little ones to enjoy those moments. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy my family it's just different. Sharing your littles ones fills that spot in my heart, thank you so much.

Merry Christmas Colleen! Tortilla talk: idk if you’ll see this but seeing you come back has been such a joy for me. I grew up watching you and you always made my hard days better. You coming back to RUclips was the perfect timing because I actually went through a miscarriage at the end of September and my family has had so much crappy stuff hitting us left and right. Your videos make me feel like I have a friend and that I can pretend everything is normal when I’m watching them. The miscarriage is seriously the hardest thing I have ever gone through and just the joy of your videos has helped me through such a hard and trying time. You’re such a light and bring so much joy to so many people. Even though we didn’t know the baby’s gender, my boyfriend and I named it Elliott. It has helped us cope by being able to have a name for our little angel. Sorry I’m rambling but I just want you to know how much you’ve helped me and just know you’re so loved 🤍

My boyfriend got me a tortilla blanket for Christmas for reasons completely unrelated to tortilla talk but it is still so fun that I will now be able to curl up with my tortilla blanket when we have tortilla talks!! I’m so excited and even though it was a coincidence and the blanket holds it’s own meaning to me, it is super awesome to see yours in the background while I snuggle into mine :]

I remember Christmas being so exciting and magical when I was little and I absolutely loved it. And I still love it, but as a young single adult it’s hard for it to feel magical. But watching you and your family experience that Christmas magic was so incredible and just makes me so excited for when I have my own family and can have that childlike excitement for Christmas again. Maisy is so smart & Flynn is such a good big brother!
Maisy reminds me so much of my daughter Chevelle when she was a baby. She is so smart already. Now my daughter is almost 10 years old and is soooo good at school. Always has been and i was shoced bc with her we didn't do preschool. My son we did start preschool when he was three and he is actually autistic and unfortunately has always been behind chevelle. Especially in school but he's still super smart just in different areas like sometimes outta the blue he will shock me with how smart he is. Idk tho Maisy just reminds me of Chevelle when she was that age and it makes me sad and happy at the same time. It just goes by way to freaking fast. Like im crying watching this. Sometimes it just hits me like what I have a ten year old and a seven year old when did that happen?!?! Like I have kids well are u sure? Haha.
I bought my mom a new laundry hamper FULL of dish/daundry stuff, pp plates, toliet pp, pp towels, Sponges, swiffer pads and juice,ect. She couldn't be more grateful!!!
