Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

I think willow should wear penny’s collar. :’) And when it’s willows time, the collar should be moved down to one of her kids and so on! ❤️

Put a “Remembering Post” in or near the milking station. Put the collars around the post there from you goats that have passed over the rainbow bridge. That way you are always looking at them while you are there. You can even pet the collar too. Love and hugs😭🤧🙂

It’s hard to say goodbye but if you really love them it’s what you do, isn’t it? She was so loved, cherished and well cared for. You have a goat paradise!

I cried when watching this, and I’m very sorry for your loss
It feels surreal.. I honestly took her passing personally as if she was one of my own 😭. Although I never got to see her in person I built a bond with her through the countless hours of footage you have shared with us. Thank you for sharing Pennies beautiful life with us the ups and down the births and changes, she took it all in stride and never let anything change who she was. She has left us with many beautiful kids, and grandkids to keep her spirit alive on the farm. She will be missed but Im happy I even got the chance to meet her, thank you for the experience even if its hard to say goodbye. Rest easy Mama. 💜🐐

Because "we" (or myself anyway) believe there's something better once we leave this world. We Believe each being has a soul, that is set free to go to a place of peace and joy once our time on Earth is done.

There should be something in her honour like naming the goat pen penny’s pen or penny’s milking station anyways sorry for your lost love you penny ❤️
They should make a massive metal circle and carve or draw or however penny's face on there and put in where the goats see when they are being milked
But that's just a suggestion
You can clearly see it on your face, the emotional pain, its obvious that none of this was an easy decision but you guys did your best, and gave her the best life possible given the circumstances. Rest in peace sweet Penny 💜 I'm sure she'll live on forever in your hearts.
