i started with thief 10 years ago, gradually learned guardian and necro, then dabbled in a bunch of everything, i play them sometimes just for content or just to learn how everything works to counter it
I played hammerbreaker vs another on a side note few times and we basically were having an eternal 1v1 while the rest of the team was playing a 4v4 gamemode. Was fun ngl xD
stomp probably better in team fights, but this was geared for 1v1s and bulls charge definitely its 1v1 better. Mesmer runes was just a fun option but i wasnt too serious about it lol
Hi, is this build still playable and which relic should i use? Or its not good now after all of these changes? I really like this "CC tank" idea but cant find any good build like this. Thanks
Still works great, in silver. If you pick your enemies and rotate similar to Vallun it feels great. I think you still need to avoid necro but otherwise it it works great. I run cleansing ire and hightened focus.
How does the Spellbreaker trait that transfer boons on Full Counter work with the Defense trait that removes boons on burst? Does it transfer, then remove or remove, then transfer whatever are left?
assassin is more crit chance because its not using gs for fury, divinity is just a broken rune so using it on anything works but dolyak is for better defense
Is this build stronger then Bladesworn(axe/horn)? I am new to the game and it seems to me that i have much more dmg and healing as Bladesworn. Is there somthing i am missing? Or i am just not able to play this build as it should be.
Generally speaking, spellbreaker is in a much better position than Bladesworn right now. In fact, spellbreaker is probably the only viable option for warrior right now.. you see some berserkers here and there, but it's not really that good when people know what they are doing. Bladesworn was hit VERY hard with some recent nerfs that made it ALMOST unusable. And spellbreaker was always a B-high B TR if you are really good with it. Some recent changes on the defence options and hammer opened up the spec for some more viarety instead of the usual strength/disc/sb Daggershield/GS spec. ( which is still good perhaps better than this one). So overall yes, this build and spellbreaker is general is better than bladesworn axe/horn pretty much every single time.

@@truthseeker7172 well the correct answer is always the classic : Play whatever you personally enjoy the most. Or you can just play Guardian... Guardian always in a VERY good or at least in a very decent spot in the meta. it has multiple builds for dps and support, it is viable in EVERY single content and it can be played without expansions as well ( the core version). It is also reasonably easy to play and master compared to many other classes. You just can't go wrong with guardian. But if you personally don't enjoy it, you shouldn't stick with it.... But give it a shot.
no fury since no greatsword, crit is low. Dolyak is just good defense because you want to be tanky as a duelist. If you could suggest a tankier rune then I would replace it with that
@@Vallun nice video! I've had some good success with Demolisher and rune of the eagle. Also, have you toyed around with break enchantments? I feel like that might work well on a GS/Hammer build (teamfighter, not duelist) bc you could strip the stability from supports to land your CCs.

Not only does it have great dmg, but it has SOOOO much CC!!!! o.o You can literally stun lockem if you land that shield bash ( dagger 3, shield 4, hammer 2, hammer 4, hammer 5, hammer 2). That combo you posted on your site is usually a 1-hit kill!!!!! Meaning 1-hit if you fully land the combo. AWESOME!!!! It totally RAPES the wariror builds on Metabattle!!! Can I be your friend? :D
You have to be really low elo for this build to be effective. I tried it in platinum and I couldn't kill shit. All your attacks cast slow as fuck and are super readable. But yeah if you do random unranked games you can meme some beginners with it. Greatsword with strenght is much better
@@Vallun I'don't think anyone in plat doesn't understand that basic concept. If I'm playing multiple nuanced classes at that lvl including DPS and support ele I'm not gonna have an l2p issue with something like warrior lol
if thats the case you can swap to cleansing ire instead of the cc giving stab trait, will work a lot better then, usually higher rated matches have more power dmg because thats the current meta

You seem comfortable with any spec on any prof…. How long did that take? Is there anything you prefer to main, or do practice everything all the time?

You can do it in like 2-3 years if you play a good amount each day I'd say.

not every build i cover is being asserted as the best build, thats for you to decide what you prefer or suits your playstyle

you can do whatever you wish, staff is more sustain and dagger allows you to remove stability to enable the hammer to actually cc

it's really weak against condi DMG and really hard to land hammer skills it's fun for sure but hard to master

being countered by fast classes means you probably are in the wrong places, stop chasing kills and start playing for nodes

Yeah you won't really see condi specs in g3+ and if you do it'll just be a Harb maybe an odd soulbeast here and there.
This build is weaksauce after gold 3. Unusable
its being used on monthly AT winning teams, maybe consider getting good at it
