    Most confused.
    The stem, the verb, the cited, the conjugation, the 3rd person masc. singular past form.
    Of these, what is matched with what.? What is the significance and meaning of each?

    Marhaba habibati. I am working out of the AL-Kitaab Book. I have completed it before but i am re-studying it again. The difficulty i am having is understanding the words clearly when someone is talking to me in Arabic. The speed in which they talk seems extremely fast for me to comprehend in time. Is there something i can do to practice listening ? I dont know if that makes any sense. I can read and write arabic but it hard to understand when someone is talking to me.

      peterr schlong , thank you for sharing, I recommend that you watch Arabic movies, listen to Arabic music. It’s time but when exposed your brain to additional resources, you’ll see how much you’ll feel about Arabic. In the beginning, don’t worry about comprehension , just familiar yourself with Arabic. Thank you for watching my videos!

      Yes mam i am very familiar with Arabic. I have studying for several years now. I have 4 questions Habibati. The hard part is keeping up to the speed of the talker. 1). Is it normal to replay the sentence in my head of the person talking then translate to english in my brain? This is what i do and i just can't keep up the speed and translate fast enough. Should i stop translating the words in my head or something? How should i change my approach.? 2) Also another problem that i run into is that the classical Arabic that i am learning does not seem to be the same as the common person on the street. i know that there are several dialects, should i study other dialects as well while i am studying classical or wait until i have the full fluency of Classical Arabic.? 3) When i read Arabic literature i find myself guessing the pronunciation because there are no tashkils or vowels. How do you know how to read the words with no taskils or vowels. ?Should i memorize everysingle word in the Arabic dictionary? Thank you love for responding to me, i appreciate your teachings very much.

    I don't know what stem means. Can anyone tell me?

    • @LearnArabicWithAbbassia
      @LearnArabicWithAbbassia  4 года назад

      Rubina Merchant , the stem means the three or four letter of the verb that you cannot change or drop. Ex: تكلم is to speak or talk, so you cannot drop any Letter if you conjugate tu e verb . You need to add the prefixes to the verb. The stem also could mean the root of the verb, the main letters that form this verb . Did I help with this explanation??
