Just another example of why it is very important to be able to protect yourself and others if necessary, from criminals.

Help everyone to have decent housing and better work conditions. People need to feel valued and respected. They need the skills and attitude necessary to thrive in a committed family and have a good job.

It is good to be more Christian and I agree with you with most of the stuff you’re saying. I have to say it is only good for those who want to get better and you need to think about the time and place where you try to help someone. When shootings happen, most of the time that person is there to kill, he’s not there to talk to anybody. You try to do what you’re saying in that situation and you’ll end up dead. I’m Christian myself and man I would wish for everyone to be okay but if I ever get into a situation like that, my first priority is getting my family to safety. I also, am pro gun as well. I know all too well what you're going through right now & it breaks my heart!!! I lost my 5 y.o. niece to gun violence in 2014 & I wish no one else ever had to go through what we've been through! I wouldn't even wish that pain on her killers! My prayers & love are with you & I hope you all make it through this dark time! One thing that helped me is reminding myself that a lifetime on earth is nothing compared to the eternity I'll have in heaven with Laylah (my niece) someday. This pisses me off... like im sorry your brother who was shot died but how is it that the kids arnt the main subject of this story. They were hit accidently and died... that family will never be the same. My prayers go out to all family members affected even to the sister. This is a complete tragedy! This man needs to be put away for life~
As a Blackman this is so embarrassing and heartbreaking, but at the same time not surprising. I've sworn to myself never to attend any large gathering, especially when it's mostly our own people! There will always be one or two ignorant morons that will start something and ruin everything for everyone else. My prayers to families that lost their loved ones.

If a mass shooting is four or more people injured or killed, why don't those same values hold for drunk driving incidents? Oh, right, because the drug everybody ignores causes problems so frequently that we've become blind and deaf to it. Dan, day out, dozens of people killed and injured by drunk drunk drivers... do we need alcohol control, or automobile control?
A mass shooting is when 4 or more people are killed or injured. This will probably be classified as "gang related" so it doesn't get classified as a mass shooting like most black mass shootings are.
