This sounds really damn good! Purchased two from the B&H deal day at $199 a pop, excited to get them in the studio. Thank you for taking the time to make a review on this, it is what set me over the edge on the purchase.
Thank you for the review. I do have a few questions I think are important. Did you purchase the system or did Senal provide it to you for review? During your review, you were never more than three feet away from the receiver, if the distance was ranged 300'-500' (500' is the max operating range), how would distance affect the signal and quality of audio? Finally, if the TX was out of line of sight of the RX, would the user experience signal loss, increase in noise, loss of audio, etc...?
I have this mic system and trust me sound quality is really good, the only complain I have is the battery door, but if this is a mic you want to use you should be careful with the battery door. all in all this mic has it own stand and will serve you well . I have the G3 and the Senal stand its ground.
@@daprincehwc i just got one and its noisy as hell idk if i have a defected one are wate but sound is hissy i am not liking it i though i up created but my sermonic sound better
@@highlycreativedigital5472 try set the level for the transmitter and the receiver. let the receiver level be on 0, and set the transmitter to the -15 or -12, if reading to red, you can adjust the receiver to -3 0r -6. you should be fine. for the price this is a good mic, the audio sound natural , maybe little boot on the high freq.
I've never done a full range test on it, so I don't know an exact number, but I have used it to record a wedding where the transmitter was about 100 feet away from the receiver and I had no issues.
