I so agree with you. I am 59 and knew about the band in 89 but I was so busy working that I hardly was listening to music and when I was, it was mainly Queen. I recently rediscovered her and 'the guys with the the remodeling of their best of album. Good music is not a question of making lots of money but of perpetuating in time... Today Texas has become my N°1 band and I adopted Sharleen's look (black hair no make up, Tom boy dress code) since it gives me more self assurance. I feel good and I like it !
This is one hell of a band with an incredibly talented singer (she plays guitar and keyboards as well). They've been at it for 25 plus years. It is a crime they are not better known in the States.
