- Electric motocross bike shredding - Huge gap jumps and flat out trails! I ride urban MTB freeride spots on my Sur Ron e mx bike and hit huge gaps and lines before going flat out on the Cake kalk!
Which bike would you ride?
I decided to get out on the Sur Ron mini electric motocross bike and hit some classic urban MTB freeride spots around my hometown including the local skatepark and the perfect MTB hopper ramp spot in the university. I start off by riding a hill climb before digging a fresh take off and riding a decent sized double as a warm up for the huge gap jumps I was going to make in the Uni with my MTB Hopper portable ramp. In amongst the action I even managed to stop by a local skatepark and hit some gaps which was super fun. After going big on the sur ron I decided to switch to the Cake Kalk ink motocross bike and chase Lewi Piligrim around the local trails at full speed. This was such a good ride and the GoPro HERO 9 captured the fun perfectly, but the question is, which bike would you ride?

I like how the bike does not tear up the land as much as an engine bike. I live in the Sonoran Desert and the land will always show the scars from dirt biking over the years.

Yes, you do! Motocross is one of if not the most amazing sport you can do. Not sure what country you are from but you should be able to find a proper MX track somewhere within driving distance. One ride and you will get addicted to the sport!
And these new electric MX bikes are engineering marvels - KTM makes one but it is really expensive but KTM is making the greatest MX bikes on the planet! And these new generation electric bikes are really starting to look amazing!
I have never had the chance to ride an electric bike but they look like you could get just as good of an experience on one of these as you can on a MX bike - or about 80% as good but that is awesome. Good luck, have fun, ride safe. Cheers!

Something about sam makes him so likeable you forget how athletic he is. He's like a squirrel...always landing on its feet. Squirrels are the only animal that can survive a fall from any height.

Hope to see you on the Sur Ron more and modifying it. Upgraded rear triangle and progression link, better suspension (fox 40, dhx2), upgraded controller/battery running 10kW, 21/18" wheel combo, and brake pad upgrade, would be a great start and then send it on some MX tracks for us!!

You definitely have to try 72V Nuclear 24F powered Surron! It's a 3 times power increase from the stock, max speed of 120+ kph and other cool improvements

@@MACRONOne A regular bike is the most attainable and affordable. A surron x is $4,400. The nuclear 24f kit costs $1,400. You can find Altas for $6,000 which is $200 more than the e bicycle.

try putting 72v litespeed battery and bac8000 controller and New suspension on the Sur Ron like a fork 40, and it will do 80 mph and have perfect suspension for the speed. Pure Dreamsss

ASIBAC4000 controller would be plenty enough. Don't always need the most raw power. Wouldn't use a lambo to do laundry at a laundromat, you'd take your Honda instead. Similar concepts.

Hey Sam! I'm not sure if you have heard but today is going to be epic! Well, tomorrow maybe, but today was pretty awesome too. I have a quick request. I am currently living in Colchester after a lifetime of globetrotting. If you are filming in the town at any point I'd love some advice on a couple of bike skills. Primarily, being less scared on leaning back over the back of the bike (manuals, better bunny hops). Thanks! Take it easy dude. Glen.

So good riding. I know the Cake is a faster more powerful bike than the Sur-Ron, but I would still go for the Sur-Ron, its a great little bike and looks great, but the Cake looks like it was designed with just a set square and sold at Ikea.
