For several years I went to the Glen participating on Club Events. I took Viper ACR, Ferrari 458, Porsche GT3 RS and Ferrari BBLM I’ve been to great tracks in Europe, South America and the US. The Glen is among the three best tracks of all. Probably the fastest0
More teams that typically only compete in IMSA or the WEC should compete in both championships (preferably full-time); imagine the competition & chaos that’d bring
Really hoping Proton carries their momentum from Le Mans to Watkins Glen. Really want to see the Mustang GT3 in victory lane and those guys have been working hard at it. Also rooting for Lamborghini to have a really good result in the GTP category.
I love how much faster the LMDh cars look going through the first few turns now than the formula one cars that would have raced there. Edit: I counted 15 turns altogether so I'm wondering what they class as a "proper" corner in the state of New York that makes only 11 total.
hear me out i love jesse krohn but put him in a gt3 car or make him the starting driver for the 24 because eng is clearly faster (correct me if im wrong)
I doubt it unless there's either a change in rules regarding the hybrid system or they modify the cars specifically for the series. I don't recall there being a rule allowing the Hypercar racers to simply join the series. I could be wrong though, so don't quote me on it.
@@chrisrandom1404 if I’m not mistaken, Aren’t HyperCars and GTP’s under the same rules and regulations? Same as with GTD and LMGT3 are under the same rules and regulations. Im 99% sure but I’ll have to pull out my 2024 edition hand book here in a minute.
@@chrisrandom1404 you were correct, Imsa’s GTP rules and regulations differ from WEC’s HyperCar class. All GTP’s are mandated to have a hybrid system, unlike WEC’s where they don’t. Therefore not being eligible to race on the Imsa grid unfortunately
1:24 love the dummy wheel inside, looks like a 90's group C
Imagine a 4 hour safety car at the 6hrs of the Glen 😂
Please don’t curse the race 🙏
Hahahhaha more like 2hrs at the glen lol
It would be as bad as this years Nurburgring 24
The equivalent safety car length would be 1hr, just for comparison. 1/6 of the race. 4 hrs would be a killer tho.
Lmao
This is my favourite IMSA endurance race after Daytona !
Glad you like it! It’s quite the exciting race!
Thank you for the briefing. Gonna be there for my 41st year discounting when the track went dark in the early 80s and COVID. Gonna be a blast!
That is fantastic to hear. Seriously impressed. You sir, are a true fan. Best wishes from the UK.

Nice video. Looking forward to your review. Missed the race due to time differences.
Fantastic content. Love your channel
Love Watkins Glen. One of my favorite tracks.
Great report, thank you.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 👊
My dad once said that everyone should see a race at the Glen in their lifetime, and the taxi cabs don't count...
Thank you for the video’ and looking forward to seeing the race
I like very much IMSA
Forza ferrari on GTD’s and Lamborghini and Cadillac on gtp
This track has a ton of meaning to me. One of my English and history teachers relative is J.C Argetsinger. The one who started the racetrack.
Wow that’s so cool! 👏
Hi! Just wanna know if you will make a video abt some wrap-ups in 24 hrs of le mans
Yes! My race review for Le Mans will be out soon and I plan to put out 1 or 2 more additional recap videos from Le Mans.
Thanks!

Off the esses brought me here!😊
Nice! Off in the esses is a great RUclipsr, and someone who has incredible IMSA content 👏

Prince Cobb? I think you'll find it's Price Cobb.
And the 62 Ferrari is discalified for having 2 rear wings 2:56
while hyped for the main event, the mustang challenge is definitely my second favorite along with GR Cup in the SRO series 👀
gr cup over mx-5 is a pretty interesting take

Lamborghini sc63 the 63# will return in IMSA am I right and I love Lamborghinis🇮🇹💚

I know this is random but I really hope Toyota and Ferrari join the GTP class on the Imsa grid next year!
I hope so as well

Why are some GT3 cars coming back?
because of endurance rounds basically longer races equal more cars
Since this is a Michelin endurance round, more entries will be here for this event at Watkins Glen!
@@FormulaJonah what other races where Michelin endurance?
@@adrianprado5040daytona, sebring, indianapolis and road atlanta
@@FormulaJonah hey Jonah just an idea, you could cover GT World Challenge for more content 👍😀
