Can you switch from sound coming out from the speakers to sound coming out of your headphones plugged into the front 1/4 jack so you could leave your headphones plugged in constantly? or once the headphones are plugged in, does all sound come through there no matter what?
its a 5.1 there is 5 speaker outputs along with a sub output which = 5.1 99% percent of subwoofers are amplified on the the subwoofer end unless you build your own.
How do u connect it to the TV thru HDMI only without a optical?

umm isnt it only a 5 not a 5.1 because it doesnt have a amplified subwoofer channel?

ahh okay i thought it was only 5.1 if the reciever itself had a built in subwoofer channel :) not just a output for an active one
