Really great work here- I love these butterfly hood Loadstar especially with diesel re-powers. I’m building a 67 right now with Detroit power so I really look forward to your updates. Keep it up!
Keep up the good work, I may try to upload my 1963 COE project soon, properly name Covid-19-63 since now I have a few weeks to get it done during this virus mess, so long from Eminence Kentucky
I got a 1700 4x4 im HOPEFULLY finishing up this spring, so style like this really isn't my area, but its still awesome!!. I am getting my hydrovac today or tomorrow from ups, just need to assemble the wooden flatbed and brakes then she should be ready for 40 mph in 5th gear!!! Never expected it to take this long, but if you keep them factory, the brakes are always an issue, so most people just take the cab off and I understand it. The brakes suck even in great condition. Are you going for the low look or what are your plans? Hint, they will change. Good luck
Right now it's just sitting in the shop. I've had alot of other stuff going on. I have plans to start filming again here soon. I hope to be back working on it sometime this year is my plan.
The upper a arm I built. The lower a arm is for a 95 chevy 1 ton dually. I have a 95 chevy 1 ton dually hub assembly and a power rack and pinion for a 2005 dodge 3500 2wd. It's a mixed bag of parts
Mine is from a 1 ton dodge dually. If you want to run dually wheels you can get a rear end from a 1 ton chevy that was a cab chassis. Ive been told they are narrower than a regular dually rear end.
The spindles and control arms and hubs etc are all one ton chevy for and 95 chevy dually. Made my own crossmember. Steering rack is for a 05 dodge 2500. It's a hodge podge of parts. Still needs alot of work to finish. I'm hoping to get started back on it soon. I've gotta finish up this 56 pontiac we are LS swapping
It's all pieced together stuff. The front crossmember we made. The steering rack is for a 05 dodge 2500 2wd and the front control arms and and spindles are all 1 ton chevy stuff for a 95 chevy 3500. It's a hodge podge of parts and figuring. I'm hoping to get back building on it again soon and bring it back to the channel. Right now it's just sitting in the shop waiting.
The front crossmember we did ourselves. Then used Chevrolet one ton dually hubs and spindles and control arms. The rear 4 link and watts link came from Thor Bros. We cut the c notch out ourselves too. The rear air bags are for a semi. The fronts are too but are smaller than the rears
@danielverteramo3083 it's still sitting in the shop waiting on me to get motivated and finish it. Life and other projects have got in the way. I'm hoping to bring it back to the channel this upcoming year.

Really nice work
Thank you!
@@Smittys_Speed_Shop you’re welcome
It looks awesome
I’m going Saturday July 24 to buy a 61 international l160
did you add any length to the monster 4 link or just what thor bros. sells originally?
Its his 36" monster 4 link
Nice work ! Did you have to modify the firewall or make a doghouse to make the cummins fit ?
Yes you have to cut a nice sized portion of the firewall out. I haven't built the engine cover yet
What intercooler and radiator are you going to use? Looking Great!!!
Stock international radiator and using the stock intercooler from the 93 dodge donar my cummins came from.
I'm sorry that a arm on the front suspension
Nice truck! How long is the chassis? Can you let me know the wheel base please?
I will have to measure. But it's the same as my 93 dodge d350 cab chassis donar truck. Because I used the driveshaft and all from it.
@@Smittys_Speed_Shop Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
What tires are u running on tht!? Those are nice 👌
They are toyo tires. Size 265/35/22
Awsome
Thanks!
Very nice!!!
Thanks!!
Can you give me some information on that front suspension Jose arms or did you make them or did you buy them
The upper a arm I built. The lower a arm is for a 95 chevy 1 ton dually. I have a 95 chevy 1 ton dually hub assembly and a power rack and pinion for a 2005 dodge 3500 2wd. It's a mixed bag of parts
Did you use original frame or did you use a 1 ton chassis
It's on the original frame just highly modified. The back and front suspension is all custom.
Why you using a chevy fender on your cornbinder
Just something I found to try. Still not 100% on those. The build is just sitting right now until I can get back on it.
What did you use for a rear end? I'm trying to decide what to use for mine, I don't want the wheels to poke out too much in the back.
Mine is from a 1 ton dodge dually. If you want to run dually wheels you can get a rear end from a 1 ton chevy that was a cab chassis. Ive been told they are narrower than a regular dually rear end.
What front end kit did you use
The spindles and control arms and hubs etc are all one ton chevy for and 95 chevy dually. Made my own crossmember. Steering rack is for a 05 dodge 2500. It's a hodge podge of parts. Still needs alot of work to finish. I'm hoping to get started back on it soon. I've gotta finish up this 56 pontiac we are LS swapping
What front controll arms or set up is that?
It's all 1995 one ton chevy hubs and spindles etc
What size tires did you put on them shaved alcona wheels?
295/40/22
Where did you get that front suspension
It's all pieced together stuff. The front crossmember we made. The steering rack is for a 05 dodge 2500 2wd and the front control arms and and spindles are all 1 ton chevy stuff for a 95 chevy 3500. It's a hodge podge of parts and figuring. I'm hoping to get back building on it again soon and bring it back to the channel. Right now it's just sitting in the shop waiting.
@ well i appreciate the info , i like it
Which kit did you order so many choose from I have a 67 C60
The front crossmember we did ourselves. Then used Chevrolet one ton dually hubs and spindles and control arms. The rear 4 link and watts link came from Thor Bros. We cut the c notch out ourselves too. The rear air bags are for a semi. The fronts are too but are smaller than the rears
@@Smittys_Speed_Shop Do you have any dimensions on the front cross member that you can share?
@@Smittys_Speed_Shop Did you use a 1-ton Chevy steering rack or is it from another vehicle?
Never mind, I found it on another of your posts. Dodge 1 ton...
Why'd you need a 4-link suspension
Without a 4 link I wouldn't be able to get the truck low enough.
Can u link the rims and tires please
The wheels and tires and adapters were bought at a place called Tennessee wheel and tire. Should be able to find them on a Google search.
Thanks
whatever happend with this build?
