- Taking a look at the master planned community of Bryson located in Leander Texas where I review what’s it like living in Bryson, where it’s located, local Leander Restaurants, things to do, what amenities are near by and the schools that students feed into. I’m giving you my feedback on whether this community is worth considering.
My criteria for rating each category on a 5 star scale:
Amenities & Conveniences based on proximity to Bryson.
0-2mi - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
3-5mi - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
6-8mi - ⭐⭐⭐
9-12mi - ⭐⭐

Neighborhood Eats is based on how many restaurants and their proximity (within 5 miles) as well as Yelp reviews.

Hi Angie! Thank you for your vids, I love the honesty and that’s pretty awesome! It would be great to know your thoughts about Oak Creek Leander. Any community recommendations that is walkable or easy access for almost everything?
Hey Michell. I wish there were more walkable communities in Austin but they are far and few between. My old neighborhood, Mueller, is the only one of its kind at the moment that has created a very low carbon footprint. You can walk to everything in this community. At some point Northline in Leander will be a similar concept on a suburban scale. I have clients that live in Oak Creek and they like it.

do you have any suggestions of new upcoming construction with good school rating in the range of 500s?
New construction prices have gone up everywhere in and around Austin and new developments are slow to open as well. The newest one is Parkside on the River in Georgetown but I'm not sure where they are in pricing just yet. Some of the models homes have not opened yet.
Wanted your advice on which community is preferred baryson or Santa Rita ranch north.
Price of 3000 sq ft home is coming to 530k in Santa Rita and same is coming to 500k in baryson community .Now my quest should I go ahead with Santa Rita or baryson .
Hey Muzamli! It depends on what you're looking for. Bryson at the moment has quicker access to amenities and is also located very close to where the City of Leander's new downtown will be (Northline). Santa Rita Ranch still has a semi remote feel with lots of open spaces. This will soon change because there are commercial developments coming to the area like HEB which is Texans favorite grocery store and when they decide to build other businesses follow. In this market though, whatever comes available in either community you should consider. As you know our inventory is at an all time record low (0.4months). Is this community diverse and welcoming?
The Austin area has changed over the years and the dynamics of our city has changed alongside that. A lot of my clients have been relocating from all over the country and are looking in North and South Austin. Many of the people that you will meet you'll find are not from the Austin area, which is really great for Austin.
