That was four years ago. He was just turning 16th. He has improved a lot in the meantime and since the Tchaikowsky Competition, last summer, it is clear that he has a growing fan club really found of his sensibility and his personal musicallity as well as his joy of life. Mao is a happy young man.

At age 17, he was wearing Ampelmann sweatshirt from Berlin and I kind of like it.
ハイドンのソナタは美しい。洗練されている。音がクリア。しっかり鍵盤を押している感じがする。とても17歳とは思えない。
