It's so nice to hear Jeff name drop younger artists. So often we get stuck on the art we admired when we were growing up and seldomly check in with what younger generations are into. Hearing an artist of Jeff's caliber and experience bring up Bo Burnham and Vulpeck casually in conversation is so refreshing.
Such great advice by Bridges to Conan where he tells him to not get into the comparison game and not "ego-trip", just pursue your passions and have fun. "Comparison is the thief of joy."
Something about the genuine endearment in Conan’s eyes and the aura of chillness that fills the room when Jeff bridges is there. Man, this was a special one. His vibe touches your soul and makes u wanna be cooler🤙
Jeff Bridges performed with Elton John, Leon Russell, Elvis Costello, Neko Case, the Punch Brothers, John Mellencamp, and Greg Allman in ~2010 for T-Bone Burnett's Speaking Clock Revue. He was such a great musical act just him with Elvis and T Bone singing backup, then as a member of the monster encore with everyone.
His voice has such a deep nice tone to it that its vibrating in my car speakers in a pleasant way like his voice is literally " the vibe" Its like a comforting almost rumble.
I was lucky enough to see Conan on his tour in 2010 at one of the San Francisco shows. He's being humble - that show was killer and I wish he would do it again.
Jeff Bridges as the greatest voice, from that gravitas low to the height of levity 🙏🙏🙏What a range in a voice, in a career, and in everything that he does 🙏🙏🙏
As a NY Drummer since 1980. A lot of people are Multitalented Performers. Like Conan and Jeff Bridges are. They shouldn't worry, or fret about chops their musician friends may have developed, and just go out and play when they can. Performers need varied improvised outlets. Eg. Improv Comedy/Acting. Improved Solos on guitar are one & the same.
I remember being 10. Seeing the heavily Promoted King Kong Remake on Christmas 1976 with my family. Being introduced to Jeff Bridges. Oh yeah, he looks like his Dad. But being completely distracted by the flirty, scantily clad Jessica Lange. Forgetting the late great Charles Grodin was in it. But being jealous (at 10!) of Bridges hooking up with Lange as the Leading Man. But hey, he's still "The Dude"!
@@remnant24 that's what I don't get. Its like people just came up with a free way to make money. How can people make money from skipping and ad in 5 seconds
The big difference between rock bands and Acting/Theater/Film?? In Theater/Film they have this guy called a DIRECTOR that keeps the chaos at a minimum. In rock and roll it can be all out war or even fisticuffs - he with the biggest ego gets his songs done.....
I checked out the fearless flyer's, signed sealed delivered.... UM, yikes... Zen isn't supposed to mean; just accept everything is it ? Because that's not gonna work for me, not bad... Just, not interesting
I didn’t think I could love Jeff Bridges more and then he starts talking about Vulf and Fearless Flyers
I was gonna say the same thing. Wolf and FF are awesome.

I love how Jeff Bridges fully embraces The Dude. Jeff's vibe is sublime, and awesome to behold.
Bo Burnham was the last person I expected Jeff Bridges to reference lmao I love it
I know, I was quite surprised too. Great taste!
Seriously, great surprise and of course totally true!
The Dude abides, man
I know right!! I loved that special too.
Such great advice by Bridges to Conan where he tells him to not get into the comparison game and not "ego-trip", just pursue your passions and have fun. "Comparison is the thief of joy."
I bet Burnham would be flattered as hell to hear that Jeff Bridges loved his special.
💯
I was so surprised to hear him say that. I loved that special too.
Jeff Bridges name dropping Vulfpeck and The Fearless Flyers was not something I ever thought I would hear.
Bridges giving a shoutout to vulpeck and fearless flyers was unexpected lol
Sweet
Yeah for real, it made my day when I heard that on the podcast. He seems like a genuinely cool dude.

It’s like Jeff Bridges sprinkled ‘dude dust’ as he entered the room. Conan is noticeably more chillaxed than his typical chaotic self.
Never have I seen someone make even the ad segment as entertaining as Conan
Jeff Bridges listens to Vulfpeck. That is fantastic
Dude, I am always surprised how much more I can like Jeff as a person. He was the perfect choice for Lebowski!

The Dude promoting Vulf and FF with Blake Mills at 7:45 That’s amazing. An invite to Coco’s podcast incoming…
Jack Stratton would be an amazing guest!
His voice has such a deep nice tone to it that its vibrating in my car speakers in a pleasant way like his voice is literally " the vibe"

What a guest and legend !!!
Got to love that guy, he's so much fun. GREAT interview! Have him back on!

The trick is to guess what hotel hes staying in.
Jeff Bridges talking about Vulfpeck, Fearless Flyers, and Bo Burnham absolutely made my day
Jeff Bridges is the DUDE..
and that's what you call him.😎
Jeff is a treasure.
T-Bone quietly orchestrates phenomenal albums and soundtracks.
I gotta get to a Lebowski fest, at least once. I feel it’s my dude’y
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man
Of course Jeff is part of the Vulfpack

Fearless Flyers is a high quality shout out from Jeff. They rip!
Conan is great in this podcast thing. Late night shows were okay but now guests have more time.
Jeff really ties the room together.

Wow 🤩 Conan I’m the same adnauseum way! 😹😹
Love 💕 ALL of you.
Jeff seems like he is doing fantastic at 74 and I’m happy to see that.
A mid roll (in video) add a minute in is crazy
Agreed
We need the whole interview.
Dude's so laid back and chill on the Conan pod😎

DUDE amazing Jeff knows about Fearless Flyers
Do yourself a favour and rewatch this video, and pay attention to Sona’s body language during the wide shots. She is SMITTEN!
Ok Vulfpeck, start working on a song with the title “The Dude Abides”
The only thing that i think of looking at Jeff Bridges is Dana Carvey's impression "We're alive Man! We're alive!'
Conan, check out Cory Wong. The new Vulfmon album is up you alley. 😉
You may not be able to shred a guitar like others but I think people would love to hear just a simple 4 chord progression and a story.
Jazz chord melody is hard enough.
@@sclogse1 I wonder what Conan’s singing sounds like?
I’m convinced he has a alter ego like “Duke Silver”
I was there, it was great. He wore the Jelly flipflops and everything
That must have been awesome playin with John Fogerdy!
I wish the ads were placed at the start or at the end and not in between :(
exactly what i was thinking. he is the dude.
Missed the opportunity to talk about Tron and tron legacy and possibly tron 3 😅
If Corey Feldman can do it Conan can.
I don't know why people make those ads in the middle like people don't even skip them. We have enough ads. They all get skipped anyway
Obligation. Olbermann does it. But the next day his podcast is on youtube with none.
Because they get paid for it. Were you born yesterday?

Such a cool fckin dude. 🥰
The Dude!
A bo burnham shout out!!
Jeff is runnin' on high octane now..
I'll have what he's having..then I'll go clean the toaster oven.
I wish you could get conan to listen to Ren.
He is the dude
"You let the dude do you"
loved the Dude's response to that, too, fully embraced! ❤
I like how the miller commercials are getting more and more erratic 🤣
It's the only commercials I almost never fast forward 😂
Music is something we do, not something we consume. Recordings are illusions of music.
Good humans.
Wow, the commercial comes in less than a MINUTE into the episode...?
The joy of discovering musicians. I just discovered Rory Gallagher. Unbelievable.
Vulfpeck!!!
I hear Rooster Cogburn and the Sons of Bitches are a great band
John Paul George Ringo and Jeff, I always said.
Wait; Conan hasn't heard Vulfpeck?!
So...this Dude, Jeff Bridges. Sounds like the Dude?
Dream Dinner Party: Jeff Bridges, Conan, Timothy Olyphant, Sammy Hagar, Jennifer Lawrence and Matt Damon. Talk about a room chock full o’ raconteurs!
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
Welp, I think I'll be joining The Church of the Dude. Everything Jeff says makes sense to me.
He sounds like a 74 year old Lebowski.
