I wasn't a Barrel Racer but in the 80's and 90's I worked for a Rodeo company and I would design shirts , wear them 1 time and sell them out of the back of my car and sometimes off my back! Lol. It was fun
They have no idea how impactful they are. I truly truly look up to them both and hope/know that one day I too will have that life we have dreamed of and always be hungry for the next thing.
The fact that your teaching your child work ethic keeping you butt outta trouble and putting in the time is how you become a great parent and raise great adults
Absolutely love this....especially the rodeo parent part..... the business owner part.... doing both is incredibly hard! We have tried to teach our kids the hard work pays off but yet you have to be smart and tough! IN LIFE AND IN RODEO AND DEFINITELY BUSINESS

Beautiful podcast
I think the moment I realized that maybe my parents were also human, and maybe everything they or others say in the industry isn’t always gospel, I’ve grown as an individual so much. That theirs other ways to go about things. And that’s changed mine and my husbands life. To be open minded to what someone who’s never probably say been on the back of a horse even, there’s still something to be said and learn from.
Funny truth, I’ve gone back and listened to some episodes that I skipped because I thought I probably wouldn’t get a whole lot from them. And that was a huge mistake! 🤣 anyway I’ll stop with my run on sentences. Y’all are great!

Oh quit complaining! We all have choices you don’t have to rodeo. They need to tier it out. Problem is take rough stock out of it & the other end of the arena would be screwed cause nobody goes to a rodeo to see timed stuff especially barrel racing but, that’s this guys favorite event
