The SOCOM 2 multiplayer maps look awesome, especially the Vigilance map with its beautiful scenery of the Albanian countryside and Requiem with its snow covered landscape, it is a real shame that the maps do not have a campaign mode mission though

I pretty much agree at the end. The single player is pretty much the least talked about component about socom, even though it's like a side of potatoes next to the big meat: multiplayer. Single player is fun in the sense that you can challenge yourself with weapons that can make a mission hard, commanding your teammates to shred enemies in a spot (that is if they actually coooperate) the objectives feel like something that navy seals would perform and the music is what makes fights tense and fun to get into. Music in Socom 1 sounds a lot more menacing and ambient while Socom 2 sounds more upbeat and cheery. I also like it when multiplayer maps are a counterpart to a single player map, it's intresting to see little differences between the two.
Love your socom documentary like videos. We need more of these. Because it's such a legendary game series that for some reason doesn't get talked much about now a days.
It warms my heart to see anyone actually watches these things, my hope is that these videos will spread as far as possible so that people will regain interest in these games I have tons of more of these types of videos coming, especially ones about the lore, (which I admittedly have been lacking on lately but I will kick it into high gear next year after this holiday season. It's all for the love of an amazing game, the amazing experiences, and a way of life for those people who got on and logged in countless hours on these once in a lifetime games.

Would you ever mind making a tutorial on how to play multiplayer and setup for mics on a emulator on pc for example? I use pscx2 emulator and I actually encounter a lot less bugs then you seem to in single player for example. Socom 3 for me runs the aboslute best out of all of them but I been playing Socom Ca without issue besides maybe slightly choppier gameplay but i have it smooth enough where it runs great. Been grinding out the badges out, trying to unlock everything. All the sweet guns behind a sort huge, but actually fun game if you get involved, dedicated to it. On commander its so difficult its ridiclous, but if you carefully figure out your play style, and very often and cautious, multple commands with your team in certain patterns.. I been beating it, and its fun, challenging and so hard sometimes its frustating, Range is key in commander on instant action missions. Anyway I am way off topic and this is practically anyway. About the multiplayer again, where is this patch? I wanna bookmark it to my browser for when i figure it out. Thanks in kind regards. Tbh I think i will always like the single player mode more tbh. The ai gun fights are strategic and fun, and require certain knowledge, skills and thought. I want more challenging tactical games like swat as another example thats similar. Im blabbing. Stopping lol.
Yea it was great having full rooms anytime you want and more things to choose from. At least you can still play it on the revival servers for S1 and S2 ftb and SVDL for S3 and CA. Confrontation revival servers should be back early this year.
Yall remember a snow map i think it was on socom3/CA? Maybe a map pack. You can play the big 32 player game. It had vehicles and a big bridge to cross over a frozen lake. Then on the other side it had these hills you can shoot down off of.
You can play it on one of the revival servers that people have put up. You'll need a Ps2 or a Pc strong enough to run PCSX2 (the most popular ps2 emulator). Or on another device that can run the program. There are some tutorials on RUclips that show you how to do it.

Ruins to this day is my favorite socom 1 & 2 map. It was decent in 4 as well. Glad I found your channel man and I hope it grows bigger
