Jacob Zuma lost respect from people of South Africa. A president is meant to have decency and self-respect, he clearly lacks in those greatly. He should do the country a favour and just step down, if his interest is for the people!

I am not S. African. but I am from East Africa. I can't fathom how ashamed and disgusted I am to see such a disrespect, disfunctional parliament depate displayed right before my eyes in this S.African chamber. If these guys are the honorables of this country. I can only imagine what the rest of the people are alike. Now it makes sense, foreigners are burnt and stoned to death in public, on a full view in the streets. What a shame.

Firstly if you notice not everyone in parliament is being ungovernable it is certain members therefore already your statement is problematic to judge the whole parliament let alone the whole country based on the actions of the EFF. Secondly not all South Africans are engaging in xenophobic attacks. therefore I think it is very important for you to gather facts and be aware of contexts before making such blanket generalizations.

At least the EFF members are honest. Follow other Parliamentary discussions in places like Central Africa. Take Cameroon for example. Here the parliament discusses very little substantial topics. The MPs just pass bills from the Presidency if less important or from the IMF/World bank passing through the Presidency.
If it takes protests to bring some injustice to light then let it be. Of what use is "mannerly" behaviour when the discourse is dishonest and empty? I love the Lady Sonti!
But maybe we should start by dealing with the history of SA before jumping into fast conclusions. The EFF was formed as a protest against the sell-out attitude of the ANC. The most shameful thing is to see certain Afrikan people who do not want to be masters in their own house but are contented with the role of being more or less paid slaves!
The struggle for freedom must be waged everywhere, even/particularly in Parliament!
