I think the only things you can do to match Sutekh going forward is:
    1. Have all the gods teamed up
    2. Have a war between all the gods
    3. Have Omega (having evolved to godhood because technobabble explanation) takes over as the leader of the pantheon maybe as the god of time?

Mixed feeling about Series 14. Don't like Space Babies. How Sutekh returned. I think it would have been far better Sutekh escaped with The Toymaker in Wild Blue Yonder. I do NOT like it being called "Season 1" Season 1 is 1963-1964.

Sutekh how escape was stupid saying he escape from Pymids how many times the TARDIS almost destroyed over the years/centuries then just wakes up !

only a few bangers but i loved ncuti’s doctor. not a big fan of Dr Who (think it’s overrated and is basically star wars on tv) but fun

Thought it was meh. Boom, 73 Yards were the best two.
Bit worried for Season 2 is it was all written and filmed back to back so I'm worried it's going to be more of the same, but I'm hoping it's better and has more of that doctor who feel.
I think Christmas already gives me proper Dr who vibes so I'm excited for that.
But S1 for me is definitely my least favourite season for a while. I prefer every 13 season over this

    For me, there were:
3 great episodes - Boom, 73 Yards, Dot & Bubble
2 good episodes - Rogue, Legend of Ruby Sunday
The rest weren't brilliant except Space Babies, which was TERRIBLE.

💙💙✨ love watching you pair analyse my least favourite run of episodes of the modern era since series 7 (i liked series 7 a lot!) but it was fun fluff....like yes each episode deals with a ominous or dark theme BUT ....its eirher saved for a scene or its refwrred to the moved on with.... For me Series 1, 5, 11 are VASTLY superior as era starters! They hook you in....Series 2 and 10 also feel like great introductions too! This felt like you needed to be a fan for several years to get it OR really young too ... Like it felt Dr Who but like a fluffy version .....whilst i wasnt a huge 60th trilogy specials fan that felt a better starting point but it was over before it began its bizarre....overall a success? Not massively, a failure? FAR from it....overall i think a fun fluffy bunch of stories experimental but not as ambitious as previous series' ...but ill give the second gatwa half a go and hope he gets something more definitive for his doctor .. overall i feel it was a very light success ....ratings wise, okay, quality wise okay and i dare say.....next year will be okay too if slightly lower ratings wise maybe as tgat is what happens generally

Season 1 overall is solid and enjoyable. Its bold experimentialism and varied genre stories is something I love and produced some of the best episodes in years and I like the fantasy direction. Some things are clunkily executed and the lack of presence for the Doctor across the series and the decreased series length holds it back from being as good as it should be with a lot of rushed and squabbled together elements especially in the lack of character development. Very solid and admirable stories but there are improvements to be made

There were a few episodes I enjoyed but I have to say… the season as a whole was a complete miss for me…
I think without Tennet/Tate nostalgia RTD second run may be a bad idea

There were three decent episodes, namely 73 Yards, Boom, and Rogue, but the rest were pretty forgettable and way below the level they should be. Ncuti Gatwa is fine as the Doctor with nice emotional range, and Millie Gibson makes a good companion, but Russell T. Davies should have stopped after series 4 in 2008. As long as he is producer, I think the series is stuck in mediocrity.

I'm not sure. (this is all in my opinion to be clear l)
I think Russell's episode quality is more good than bad, and his exceptional episode count is already VERY high for only 11 episodes.
The Star Beast was good. Wild Blue Yonder was exceptional. The Giggle was good, if a little rough around the edges. The Church on RR was good. 14x1 was middling. 14x2 was mid/good. 14x3 was really good. 14x4 was exceptional. 14x5 was good to exceptional. 14x6 was exceptional. 14x7 was middling. 14x8 was middling.
      5/11 have been good
      3/11 were middling
      3/11 have been exceptional
if you take series 2 for comparison, that series has a fairly identical exceptional, good and middling tally.
So series 14 has been a very solid new series of Doctor Who. It's not quite as good as series 3, 4 or 5, but I think it would be a mistake to expect doctor who under any showrunner to reach those levels of success easily.

I liked up to the end of Series 10. It was an excellent ending to me. I didn't really like Bill, because it felt stretched.

Don't bother vast majority are shit. 73 yards is by far the best but so many plot holes is ridiculous to consider it good overall

The only episode I liked was Devils Chord and Rogue was alright the rest was terrible.
The deal with Disney has killed the series it just wasn’t Dr Who, Ncuti could be an amazing doctor with better writing and stories. I am shocked that this is Russell, it’s the worst stuff he’s ever put out in his career.
Also the amount of crying got annoying it was nearly every episode so it lost its impact by the finale where it would have been justified.
What made me laugh was Sutekh has been on the Tardis for decades with better mysteries but knowing who Rubies Mum was made him appear just bad writing and her Mum being a normal person was a slap in the face and just killed the story. I just think Russell couldn’t come up with a solution.
I don’t see Ncuti staying long if it’s renewed after the second series.
Will be apt if Russell brings it back to such acclaim to then being the final nail in the coffin and it gets cancelled.

Season 1? . It's series for a start and not the first since it's been going for so many years. Very strange decision to try and use the American term season and to change it to 1 as if it's an entirely new thing.

Remember back in 2005 they started the numbering to 1?
Remember how they use the term season for classic who?

Doctor Who’s so screwed up, they might as well bring Iron Man/Avengers Assembled into the mix and combine UNIT/Torchwood with SHIELD, it’s a total FUBAR.

If you have to ask then yoy haven't seen doctor who before otherwise you would realise what ab absolute travesty this season was, it was so bad that they called it season one so as to totally disassociate from all other seasons
