am long but market apparently still views $CELH as overvalued and it closes down today -3% today and dipped into 39's in after hours. Margin expansion, EPS growth of 62%, cash of $900M and they're seemingly the only energy drink name still growing with the 23% reported growth are all positives.... so why does this continue to tank to below 5x price to sales? The pepsi distribution deal restructure earlier this year was the kiss of death for them.... am long like i said but its gonna be a year before this goes back to 60-70 range.
@@alexkoch14 the terms of the distribution agreement changed they’re no longer stuffing the Pepsi channel with Celsius product to ramp up supply. Hence why they went from 100% growth in Q4 down to 24% in Q2 based on actual customer demand.
@@jvakos thanks for the reply. Just to make sure I’m understanding- when did the terms of the deal change? And this means that now on Pepsi is no longer adding Celsius to their shipments to build inventory in their channels, but rather to maintain the stock pile they have based on demand?
@@akshatghoshal6098 i hope they turn this around... if they can stabilize 20-25% growth then at this level $38+ they will be a great buy to hold next few years
Why is Ben Affleck doing stocks research ? 😂

Can you elaborate on how the Pepsi deal was the kiss of death?
