I love these. Our mentors seem to be deathly afraid of fabrication, or using any material other than 80/20 or aluminum, and maybe plywood to mount the circuitry. Conveniently, this year i designed it, and i only have one thing to say, elevator. Good luck.
Are there any resources available on this? Im looking into implementing something similar for our team but on a smaller scale. And maybe with an elevator.
More than money, this team has passion. All the money in the world won't help if the people involved are not passionate about the goal of teaching and learning robotics. To small teams like mine (5503), they seem to have more funds, but remember that this team is much more mature than we are, and they have built and built to make it what it is. Very inspiring group, and FRC is fortunate to have them around.
"we're not mentor built" 💀💀 no hate, just saying, at my team, a mentor would never be running driver practice, only the drive coach, who's always a student. In fact, all leadership on the team is done by students, leading to a far more rewarding experience

All of those gears must have cost a fortune at AndyMark.
This is a really incredible program, well done.
0:52 so you guys train them to commit penalties? O.O
Jk this is a really neat idea.
bruh my tiny build space is crying right now..I was trained to be driver for my team in like a 10ft x 10ft square
Great idea!

What's the robot to the left of your steam works bot at 2:07
"Archie", a demo robot that picks up and launches foam footballs
@@ethanreed4517 your reply times are on par with your team's performance.
How much money does this team have
As much money as NASA gives them, lol
I don't think money comes into play in this case. Probably mentors, but even then it's probably not built by them
All of it

EZRACER What team? What do you need help with? The resources are out there if you truly have the passion.
you guys don't realize how lucky you are our team had $300 dollars to build the robot and 8 days because the kit took so long to arrive.
what team?
