@meadowbrookguideserve8359 - Thanks for watching. Looe Key is definitely a can't miss spot. We made several trips out this week while our daughters were off from school for spring break. It never gets old. Enjoy your trip.
Hi following along! Coming from nh my family owns a place in punta gorda going to sneak off to the keys for some snorkeling for a day or two which sites would you recommend sounds like you definitely know what your taking about thanks!
@@camski13 If you want to snorkel from shore try John Pennekamp State Park on Key Largo (they also run boat snorkel trips to the reef just offshore). Further down Looe Key is the best snorkel spot in the Keys (not including the Dry Tortugas). It is 6 miles off shore so you'll need a boat or do a snorkel tour boat trip (Capt. Hooks on Big Pine and Looe Key Reef Resort on Ramrod are both good guide groups). You can also snorkel from shore at Bahia Honda State Park and in Horseshoe Cove on Big Pine, but won't get the same coral reef experience. If you want to head all the way down to key West than Fort Zachary State Park has some really good snorkeling, but it can get cloudy/murky on windy days, but worth it on calm days. Hope this helps.
Beautiful! Helpful. Thank you. Hopefully, we'll get there! :)
@angelapalermo9157 - Thank you for watching. Its worth the effort to visit.
Well done.
Thank you again @kevinlynch6799
Thank you so much for sharing. My family is hoping to visit Looe Key in April. All the best to you.
