I think this is the greatest bodybag ever. Okwerdz, like it or not, was about one battle away from debuting on URL, and Rone, out of nowhere, completely derailed that possibility. Not to mention that since this battle, Okwerdz has fallen off the map completely.
I wondered about that with Ok and the URL thing. He is a cool dude when I've chatted with him on Twitter. This battle stung for sure. I didn't expect it to be sure. Just damn...

I've came back to this battle many times over, it always amazes me. Such structure, pacing, consistency, delivery. Possibly the most flawless approach and execution of a scripted battle. Rone is a beast for this text-book example of a BODY. Three rounds put Ok' in three consecutive bodybags DAMN.

Honestly I think that Rone is one of the most slept on battle rappers in the game... forget “presence” and being a “real” battle rapper... The way that I see it, the battle rap scene is what the audience makes it and the writing that Rone does is so complex yet simple, that it literally makes me wonder how could anyone think of that and at the same time I’m sitting here wondering “ why didn’t I think of that?! “

I worked this event and in person it was even more of a Bodybag than on RUclips. No one disrespected okwerdZ like they did to diz with Swave. They let him rap and he fell on his face. Ok had a decent run against ars Rex and hollow but this battle was his demise. Rone was also at the top of his game here and I really wish he would go back to this style. I first heard of Rone around 2009-2010. Okwerdz been battling since 02-03, at least. A cat from from 10+ years ago CANNOT defeat a newer guy who has a more evolved style of battling. Okwerdz is STUCK in 2004.

Okwerdz was one good battle away from URL, and this battle completely derailed all of it. Rone was not favored to win, but he took full advantage of the situation and defeated one of the so-called best in the league. From here, Okwerdz lost to Real Deal, and then completely fell off the map. No one expected Rone to beat, let alone body Okwerdz, but lo and behold, he did it.
