Jade - Marie your feelings, thoughts and frustrations are totally understandable. You have made so many memories with Dawn - Louise and you can only do so much having to negotiate around your daughter’s health issues and growing up. The way parts of society views a young person growing up, the ignorance and denial they have towards someone with severe health issues, that are not always that apparent, is unacceptable, but I really don’t know how you change that. You articulate so well Jade - Marie your feelings, and you have nothing to apologize for as everything you have said , are things that society do not get right in relation to the acceptance and tolerance that should be shown and given to people with different needs at their own particular time of life with health issues Bullying is totally unacceptable, your anger is totally justified You have to do what you can when you are able, and try not to think too deeply what anyone else thinks. You have to be selfish and do it for Dawn - Louise, yourself and your family. You have to cope with so much Jade - Marie, it’s physically and emotionally draining, as you nurse Dawn - Louise through the severe challenges she can face at any time, on a day to day basis and throughout her life Keep doing what you are doing, you are doing absolutely amazing. Try not to let the ignorance of society and authorities grind you down. Carry on making those priceless memories, Dawn - Louise is getting all the loving care you can give her and is so close to you and aware of your unconditional love for her and loves you unconditionally, right back. I do hope you understand what I am trying to say to you. You are an amazing family coping with so many life challenges, keep making as many memories as possible, if the stupid red tape won’t let you, go and make another one, or maybe find a way, despite the red tape. Well Done Jade - Marie for making this very transparent and honest vlog. Take Great Care of Yourself and your lovely family
@@clivebuckland6902 thank you so much for such a heartfelt response Clive :) I’m thankful to have such an understanding and supportive community here. It’s definitley a lot to juggle psychically and mentally, and it’s hard to always uphold the positives ❤️
Don’t ever think about what she missed, because I promise you she will only remember the things she got to do with her amazing mum, and let people be ignorant stop explains yourself and dawn to people who are not worthy of it! .. I do get from your side and her side too but please believe me, keep doing what you’re doing making the memories where you can. And school…. School can just jog on. Ableism in school, dont get me started. Her life over school. And she did everything she wanted, I will list all the amazing things she’s told me about. Her illness is f**** s***, but her light will never been dimmed by people, society, your both doing amazing !!!!!
Awww Beckie 🥹 thank you sweet. I think I’m still mourning a lot of what I have lost over the years too, but do try to focus on what we have done. Yes couldn’t agree more, school is structured for ablism from day one. Our heart friends are constantly struggling too. Thank you sweet ❤️
Hi, I’ve recently found your channel but have to say, I love your content and enjoy every upload you upload. I don’t usually comment on videos but I feel like I wanted to reach out to you for this one… I’m sorry to hear that another child could say such a vile thing to Dawn-Louise. As a 28 year old mum to 3 girls myself, I can relate to how it feels when another child is horrible to your own, even more so when the child in question, parents, don’t believe you. I love watching your videos every time you upload and it’s lovely to see what a lovely, kind, caring young lady Dawn-Louise is becoming. My children are 9,6&3 so I can’t relate with you on the Christmas things but I will say that it’s wrong for places to put age limits on things such as seeing Santa. I’m sure that Dawn-Louise knows how hard you try for her and sees how good of a mum you are to her. You’re an amazing mum to her and you’ve given her the best childhood any child could ask for… I’ve noticed you go to Haven a lot too! We love going to haven twice a year. We always go to PerranSands in Cornwall. I will continue to support your channel and just know that you’re not alone. ❤xx
@@katielindsey1449 hey Katie, welcome 🥰 I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying our videos :) Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. Honestly it’s really been a hard one to process, really came out of no where. It is so hard isn’t it! You just want to protect them in every way possible don’t you. It really was a shock! I bet you are having the best christmas memories this year, such fantastic ages! Yes! We LOVE haven! Since covid we have been going 2-3 times a year, and try to visit a new park each year :) we’re actually off on another one this month! We did perran sands for Dawn-louise’s 13th birthday :) we loved the bodmin jail and the beach with the house with its own lil bridge :) Thank you so much! It really means a lot ❤️
@@ArcherAdventureshonestly, you do anything and everything for your children but sometimes you can’t always protect them. I hope Dawn-Louise is okay though! Now my youngest is 3, it’s lovely seeing her excited for Christmas. The older girls love seeing her reaction to every Christmas thing we’ve done. I can’t imagine how my eldest will feel when she reaches the age limit places put in place. I don’t understand why teenagers are excluded, especially from seeing Santa. We love haven too! I have to say, since Covid we’ve definitely gone twice a year. Easter time and then summer time. There’s so much to do at haven for everyone. I will definitely watch your vlogs from there! Sounds like you had a lovely time. Cornwall is definitely a brilliant place. Lots to see and do. Perransands makes a lovely stay site for exploring Cornwall. Have a lovely time when you go to Haven for your Christmas break. ❤
@@katielindsey1449 awww :) I know it sucks! Good news, WE FOUND AN AMAZING SANTA TODAY!! :) i didn’t manage to record much of their chat because the place was quiet small but will share what I did asap! He was amazing too, only 2.50 and all of that went to a charity too! They’re such great breaks for families, and we rarely spend over £150 per break (going in march mostly) we did the comfort plus chalet at perran sands which was a fun new experience. I’d definitley recommend bodmin jail when the girls are older maybe :) definitley need to return to cornwall for the summer, wasn’t too nice of weather in march 😅
@@ArcherAdventures oh yay! That’s amazing! I’m happy you managed to find somewhere!! I hope you had the best time. At the end of the day, don’t ever worry about filming too much or too little of an experience. It’s about enjoying the moment and making the memories as a family. I will look forward to seeing what you have captured though. Oh I will defo check Bodmin jail out then when they’re a bit older! I’ve heard some good things about it. Yeh we went April this year and didn’t have the best of weather aha! Our summer one had much better weather aha! Hopefully when you next go, you’ll have better weather tho! X
