hopefully you see this comment but i understand the actual main melody but what about the lower pitched notes that play alongside the main notes? how do you know what they exactly sound like in the original song for you to put it here? (im talking about the blue ones) please note im a complete philistine when it comes to making music so i literally have no idea how to call those notes lol
also i swear i feel like this hits a lot harder than the actual song and no i dont mean that as a "this song is awesome" way i mean that it *actually* hits harder the notes physically feel more forceful and i love it
For that, I take the song's bassline, which is the electric guitar part. It takes quite a bit of practice to be able to know what notes they exactly are (and also a bit of music theory), but generally it's not too difficult to learn. I kind of struggled with it when I first started, but I eventually got the hang of it. If you're interested in learning, you first should know the basics of music theory (notes, chords, etc.). There's a lot of good and simple videos in RUclips, so try going through some of them. Next, try playing a song on an instrument you're somewhat familiar with by ear. If you don't know how to play said instrument, try getting some lessons, or self-learn. If you don't know what notes should be played, try listening to other people's covers to get a "feel" of the notes. Eventually, you'll be able to know what goes where.
