There’s no over-shadowing issues or the likes on this performance. Jessica Sanchez was frequently on the lower parts of the song, meaning emotions will be shown there more and her vibratos were great. So stop saying Morissette lacks emotion because the emotion of the song was mainly focused on the lower registers. Moving to Morissette, she got the higher registers under control. They made her close that song with that flying note and hitting those higher notes are flawless as always. They both got some well-executed runs and growls. They both complimented each other. This is a duet. They both did great. The network made a good decision pairing them together over this song.
