Bangladesh Government already have been trying to get some emergency aid from it's best friend Pakistan and lot of agreements have been signed with Pakistan and Chinese Communist Politburo Government and also US government. There are possibilities of early release of funds would be granted so that they are very well comportable to clear all pending dues to India.

It is fair for India to receive payment. However, there shouldn't be too much pressure from powerful leaders. If Bangladesh has started to pay, that's a positive step. But if these payments are being made due to pressure from India, it may not be a good sign for future relations. Now, Bangladesh may have no option but to rely on either China or the US.
