I just watched Taka and the boys do this live last month… no tricks, no computer editing, he held that note for half a minute in person. 🤯 Awesome experience, will never forget it. ❤️🩹 Loving all these OOR reactions, keep them coming! A suggestion for the next one would be maybe the studio jam acoustic version of “Change.”
Actually it is singing skills to hold a note that long. Taking a deep breath for that long is hard. Swimmers can’t even hold a breath in that long. It’s all about control. Controlling your vocal cords is not easy. Just like Screaming in a metal or rock song. You don’t want to over work your vocal cords. That’s why many singers can’t do it because of how tricky it is. I would know because I am a singer. It takes allot to do the kind of singing like Taka can.
Your comments always move me. Very great! By the way, in Japan, when someone is really surprised, they say, ``I can't close my mouth.'' I love watching this LIVE video and watching the reactor's gaping mouth literally stop closing 🤣
Having seen Taka perform that long note live in person at a concert is just even more amazing! I've been to two of their concerts at smaller venues and I am for sure going to keep going to more when they come back to the states. Thank you so much for reacting to more ONE OK ROCK songs!

I hope you will pay attention to the lyrics of the song, especially the second video, as it is a song for people who experienced the East Japan great earthquake on March 11, 2011.

Excluding orchestral and acoustic concerts, I have been to at least one venue on a live tour since 2012. The first time I participated in ONE OK ROCK's tour was in 2012. My favorite live performance was the ``EYE OF THE STORM'' JAPAN TOUR held at Yoyogi Gymnasium. Being able to watch their performance from the second row from the front is still a treasure to me, and ``We are'' is a special song for me, so I still remember how I couldn't stop crying.
I went to the Nagoya show of this tour, but they did Clock Strikes only in Tokyo 😭 I wish I was there to witness this 30 seconds note in person. My friend was there and I'm so jealous 😭 Only time I wished I lived in Tokyo, instead of my semi countryside town in central Japan 😂

Very nice reaction😊 I would highly recommend their song “Heartache”, which is one of their ballad songs. There is a video which is a studio jam session which is very nice. Another song called “Be the light” also has a strong message since I believe it was created at the time when Japan faced the catastrophic earthquake in 2011.

Taka has one of the most incredible singing voices you will ever hear today. The control of his vocal cords are absolutely insane. Not many people can do what he did. The one who comes close to it is Chester Bennington 17 second scream in the song Giving Up.
Now everyone has to come with reaction videos like this to actually watch this version of clock strikes since the uploader got copyrighted. I'll definitely miss this version in my playlist😢
Technically One Ok Rock getting no money from this, they just get exposure since this isn’t their official channel and you have to buy the DVd of the concert
We have one and tried uploading two more but they both were met with takedown notices which would've resulted in copyright strikes for us. Their label doesn't seem to be okay with reactions from us.
