Final Fantasy V is the game Exdeath and Gilgamesh (as well as some _other_ characters from XIV I won't name...) are from. It's the most difficult Final Fantasy game and also has possibly the most light-hearted and comedic tone (though it can still get pretty sad in places). V might also have the best integration of the Job System of any Final Fantasy game too. V is actually very important for XIV because a lot of the cosmic elements of XIV come from V originally. In fact I'd actually say V might be the game XIV references the most, even in very subtle ways. There's a _lot_ of homages to V in XIV.
Things I think Lia should try: *Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro -> To see what character FF9 copy and pasted into their game ( ̄ω ̄) *Dragon Quest -> To see how Final Fantasy copied their homework in the begining and also cause 3 got a remaster recently (⌒-⌒) *Hellshing -> It's a fun gothic series about vampires, also because the police girl's boobs grow between chapters and Lia likes booba (¬‿¬) *Disgaea -> Honestly knowing Lia's tastes she's probably already seen the anime but hey gotta shoot that shot ( ̄へ ̄) *Emperor's New Groove -> Cronk is very Boom Knuckles core, I need to see if it's just a furry thing or if Lia is just getting into big dumb men (·•᷄⤙•᷅ )
FFVI or X are both good ideas to springboard off of FFIX, it depends on whether you want to see another example of classic FF or early modern FF (boy do I feel old knowing X is the tailend of what I have to call a 2 decade+ modern era until that becomes classic and classic becomes antique).

It will be difficult to do that while he is wearing plate armor.
I'm sorry that your save got borked, but this was a great stream regardless
Hope you get your save file back. You were making me enjoy FF

Hellsing Ultimate is my favorite anime(or OVA, whatever). Hellsing (no ultimate) the anime is weird and doesn't follow the manga, wouldn't recommend.
