I'm an Army vet, I would never serve this King and his government. Seeing women in the Guards for example is ridiculous.
To be fair any woman in the Scots battalion in Afghanistan were purely support, medical or MPs at bastian. Not once have we been deployed with a woman.
Give it time we will have trans woman because of their strength and fitness abilities the way these section 8s in government and generals staff are going
@@Alif-dg6ozit’s already happened there’s already “transgender” “soldiers” in the guards.
@@Alif-dg6oz .. Well during my time in Bagram (US AFB) there was a major discontent arising as women were being awarded combat patches, none had ever been outside the wire.. It won't be long before it spills over into the UK military.
My niece is one of them🤨
But lm inclined to agree 😂
As long as they meet the minimum height requirement - 4'10" - they should be okay.
My son has just resigned from the Navy. He's had enough.
Hey if you jump ship and let the arseholes steer you are part of the problem!
You Brits had sanctions against South Africa when we tried to warn the world what was coming. Now you will suffer the consequences.

Talk about nailing it: “The Jet doesn’t care who you are, the Jet will kill you”. Nobody who counts in the Military doesn’t care if you’re white, black, yellow, sky blue pink with green spots. All that matters is can you do the job to the standard required, and are you the best person out of those that can. If you don’t fall in that bracket, you don’t belong.
A sensible guy is Tim. He knows his stuff
Thats why he is getting pilloried or ignored.
Our top defence civil servants and officer class are ideological captured.
There is no ideology in the British armed forces other than obey the king and defend our nation and people.
End of argument.
@@michaeldoolan7595 So no place for NATO then, whereby we sacrifice a degree of sovereignty in exchange for mutually beneficial defence?
What’s the point in having a navy if a bunch of men on dinghies are rolling up in charity funded life boats with no paperwork! Documents funds skills!
Exactly
Tim, I went to Sandhurst on an open day with my son. There were openly Trans individuals being encouraged to be recruited. I was embarrassed on behalf of the training staff. Keep up the fantastic work.
Bloody hell how times have changed since I was in the WRAF - and certainly not for the better!
Tim is absolutely correct. I refuse to bow down at the alter of diversity and the box ticking culture which pampers to it. What the hell is wrong with a meritocracy - the tried and tested, good old fashioned, best person for the job system? The world has gone bloody bonkers.
Not the world the West. The likes of China and Russia (and the Muslim world!) are laughing at us whilst waiting for the right opportunity!
My daughter has a female partner.
They both get irate with these loud mouthed speak for everyone alphabet people. Both also state it will not be long before the people behind government place a trans politician in government with the will to have it as prime minister.
That will be the day they show us voting has never been our choice but theirs
There was never a meritocracy in either the Navy or Army. The officer class has traditionally been riddled with halfwits and morons
I am so glad I joined up when I did in 1980 and did 12 yrs service. What a life it can be when done right.
Same here joined 1980 22 years best days of my life RAF join now your joking
Me too. Joined the WRAF in 75 left in 84 - 9 fabulous years that I look back on with nostalgia and pride. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world, but thank the Lord I did it then and not now.
Glad I joined in1968 for 22 years, then got the hell out the UK.
I was a Tornado ground crew grunt Sir Tim und love you.Well i did fix your radar.
Absolute madness. I am looking forward to the BBC asking you for an interview, Tim, but I won't be holding my breath.
if they ever did it would certainly be a trap.
They would just have a list of attack questions
Tim would end up facing a clown like Marr:

3.4 million is a Drop in the ocean to the migrant hotel costs.
That’s just in the military. Multiply many times over for every department going, not to mention the NHS where as a minimum, it’s every hospital. Even HS2 etc, they demand every contractor complies with DEI requirements - it’s in every contract. Plus all the other money, hell, some African nations have started trying to reject aid because it’s being used to promote the ideology as a condition if receiving it, or it’s being spent promoting ideological nonsense there too. The money being wasted is truly astronomical.
Absolutely bang on - there is way too much in every walk of life of politicians interfering and trying to bang square pegs into round holes just to get brownie points. It's damaging for everybody.
Awesome hair there by the way.
They’ve done the same in the Police. I’m recently retired & the force I worked for had a whole department going to universities attempting to recruit based on ticking boxes & the standard of some of the new recruits is dreadful not to mention the drop out rate because they were never told throughout the recruitment process that they’d have to work nights or weekends! DEI will destroy everything that was good about the UK.
I retired last July after 30. 52% of new recruits are resigning within the first 18 months in my Force. Fact. Everything has been sold. Police are in CRISIS. I'm not exaggerating. So glad to get out and everyone I know that's still in feels the same. Unrecognisable from just 10yrs ago. Heartbreaking.
That's it's purpose
@@r1bew42 I left a CID office full of experienced detectives 6 years ago & spent my last 6 years on CT & worked with a DC who’d come from training & confirmed what you said about the drop out rate. They were also sending experienced detectives back to uniform because all the DC posts were being taken up by direct entry detectives & because they’ve never been street cops they couldn’t send them back to uniform. I’ve heard stories of direct entry DI’s telling their ‘detectives’ not to do a viper procedure because the first description didn’t match the person they’d arrested. Even CT is a joke which is terrifying. So glad to get out!! 😀
Chopper! ( I was in that movie)
@@GaZonk100 great film & books. Who’d you play?
my son is 15, has been in atc for a few years, the plan was always to be a starting point to be a pilot in RAF. that has now changed and his focus is now to be an airline pilot. at 15 he has experienced DEI interference in the cadets. its put him off the RAF. such a shame. my concern now, is the horror stories i am hearing now on commercial aviation recruitment in the states being driven by DEI. current captains are highlighting that the quality of first officers is shocking and cannot be babysat for their entire career, at some point these captains will be retiring in the next 10 yesrs and the potential risk to the flying public is going to be a serious issue.
The same thing happened to me in the Air Cadets back in the late 1980s and you can clear see I'm not a white guy. I joined late - when I was 16.5 and stayed for 1.5 years before going off to study aerospace engineering. Our cadets went down to 8 people being on parade for several weeks so I asked my CO for permission to recruit and I managed to bring in 30 kids from local schools. The younger lads who had been their longer than me scared those kids off and only about 2 or 3 stayed. My CO left and the new CO started promoting all the kids above me, three times - until there was a kid who was only 14. I later heard those kids dads would go out for beers with the CO and the following week, they'd get promoted. I experienced discrimination as a kid but I didn't think the ATC would work that way. I thought it was based on merit. It totally put me off - and I wanted to join the Fleet Air Arm as a Harrier pilot. Oh, and one of my friends from the ATC - a white lad - did join the RAF when I went off to Kingston Polytechnic. I saw him 6 months later and he bought himself out and told me "it was just like cadets". That was in the early 1990s.
You're correct. Airlines are introducing DEI (which is dumb) so my advice is for your son to go for the RAF as a transport pilot. When I was in Ecuador 2 years ago, I was always having breakfast with United Airlines pilots. They were all ex-USAF transport pilots. So, your son can get all his flight training paid for him and log thousands of hours.
@reighbh13 I was a civvy instructor in the Sea Cadets after the RN. I lasted around 3 years before resigning through DEI. It's the kids I pity. Most are great and you'd do anything for them, but those in charge are more concerned about how they appear to the political correct mov, rather than what's good for the kids.
Thanks for still speaking the truth Tim after all these years 💪 One of the only bright lights of hope that these people will one day face up for the dreams and frankly lives they've ruined.
Tim is so right! I did Cubs, Scouts, I wanted to fly and shoot. So joined the Air Training Corps. I flew in Gliders and Chipmunks, did Summer camps and shot the.303 etc. Then joined the RAF and served in Air Traffic for 12 years. I'm a patriot and am so saddened at what has happened to our Forces since I left in 1991.
My son has a passion for flying. He's gone through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and is now in the ATC. He's been with the Air Cadets for five and a half years. In all that time he's done no powered flight, and has been up in a glider once. Then the message from 'above' is that due to cut backs there will be more focus on classroom based activities in future! His attention is now with university and a career in aerospace engineering, having completely given up any idea of joining the RAF.
@@chriscurtain1816good luck to him in his choices, maybe he'll have another look when he's graduated. But he's self selecting if he throws the towel in now.

Nice one Tim, unfortunately it'll fall on deaf ears, if we get to the point where we are sending troops and or other members of the Armed forces to Ukraine, God help them.
Labour will do what they've always done to the military .
Maybe they're winding down our armed forces deliberately, so eventually we have no choice but to join an EU army?
Well said Tim
I like how you just casually called out the Kalergi Plan in the first 2 minutes lol...
That's because it's true but to use those words on TV would get me banned and they would edit it out.
My brother joined the Army when he was 17. He wanted to join from the time he was a small boy. He had a set of toy Soldiers with Red Tunics and Bearskins. He said when he was around 4 years old this is what I am going to be when I grow up. This is exactly what happened. He joined the Cadets and quickly became a leader. He joined the Regular Army as a boy Soldier. He excelled and completed some very testing tours before he had reached the age of 21. At one stage in an active area he was the youngest serving British Soldier in that area. When he left he was described as, An Exemplary Soldier. Spot on Tim.
It's an absolute joke, and it's not even funny. So glad that you have the courage to say it as it is because too many people are staying silent. God help us is what springs to my mind 🙏
You would definitely be a political asset to the rebuilding of our country Tim, if you’re interested. A wonderful spokesman ❤
and thank you for not 'spokesperson'
It's so nice to see Tim able to speak freely about stuff that has just about every one of my comments (on the same platform!) taken down.
The quality of the services has plummeted when you get 2/3rds of Sandhurst resigning their commissions it says a lot. I would never encourage anyone to join the service today it has become a shambles and has lost any standing on the world ranking.
Do you have a credible source. 2/3rds of cadets resigning would be big news...
Great to see you on the tv this morning as i drank my coffee before heading off to work. What can i say other than you hit the nail on the head completely. We are living in scary times that our armed forces are being weakened in numbers and funding for the sake of diversity box ticking. The axis forces never look weak because they dont care for diversity or rainbow soldiers
We won't be the best in the world, if diversity and inclusion are any of the criteria used for selection.
I totally concur.
Finally an honest conversation that deals with the facts and the very real negative outcomes from this kind of misguided nonsense that will ultimately cost lives.

Good stuff Tim. Always a pleasure to hear your points, it’s a dreadful shame that the people who need to know this stuff aren’t interested.

Great interview Tim, as always, even the RBL are now looking for a " Head of Diversity and Inclusion " at £67k, how many poppy collectors will be needed to pay for that one?

And the thought of giving a D.I.E statistic a box of PE4 and dets to rig up.... 😳
Well said Tim. Common sense and truth. The woke hate it.
Tim Davis dropping truth bombs!!
Well done Tim, the truth is thin on the ground these days, keep going, God bless you.
Agree 100% with Tim Davies. Why are all organisations rubbish today? Because the idiots at the top concentrate on things like DEI.
Of course retention is a problem. I’m working on a military contract on in the Middle East. As a former SNCO I work with said when he was leaving ‘I can double my salary within a month’. I hear so many bad things about the RAF now from guys who have left recently that just weren’t apprehend when I left in 2009.
Everything seems to be going down hill, the police, armed forces, NHS, the prison system been on the news saying there letting criminals go because there's no room left in prisons, schools cant cope. it feels like the country is being forced this way when it doesn't need to be. Starmer is going to make it a whole lot worse. over 14 thousand illegal immigrant's crossed the channel yesterday, mental
14 thousand? Think it was about 62 people but ok 😂
It's all part of a managed decline. The boats could be stopped in a blink. It seriously worries me why they are not. What are we being set up for?
Excellent and well said Tim, you did really well
God Bless this Man. 🇬🇧 needs more individuals like this. It didn’t sway 1/3 of the planet for being woke and weak that’s for sure. Bring back the old spine and pride of the Royal Airforce again!.
Well said Tim. Absolutely hits the nail on the head
This is the same in the whole of the public sector. The good people leave because of the DEI stuff. The DEI people generally leave because they don’t want to do the jobs. This is not about racism or bigotry. It’s about service, quality and looking after our people, whoever they are.
Well done mate. Great interview. You covered everything that needed to be said.
This year the military have a 1 Billion pound cut plus whatever Labour cuts bring plus we are giving away yet more kit (OK I believe Ukraine deserves help most offers being just lip service) but when you hear that £20,000 fire and forget anti tank missiles stock is so depleted that the 1960’s 84mm Carl Gustav is being dusted off because it’s only £120 a shot - you know it’s a bad sign of things to come.
Liebore just as bad as the rest unelected cabinet members, water rates up, NHS and Disabled benefits to be more reliant on the Private sector……. Starmer Blair’s puppet
I think those Javelins cost about $100,000.
And the new missiles that Starmer has given permission to use are 2 million a pop.
Thankyou Tim, excellent analysis.
We are short on personnel across the armed forces yet nothing is being done and by 2030 over 3,000 vehicles in the army are to be retired! New Jackals being delivered this year are to be retired in the next 5/6 years Warriors,Foxhounds, Coyotes, Mastiffs, Challenger 2 tanks, AS90s and land rover just to name a few! Yet the MoD has 65,000 Civil Servants! Nearly the same size as the British Army! Pure Madness.
Thanks for speaking out 👍
I saw the decline in the 80's and 90's, it mirrored how society had become soft, many kids are spoiled mummy's boys, driven everywhere and everything done for them. As a result you end up with too many namby-pamby's, who cannot cope with a little bit of discipline and without their home comforts.
The services are better off without them, they are a hinderance, as their inability to cope means someone else has to pick up what they can't or won't do.
Sadly it costs a lot of money to train these wimps and likely took the place of a better person was unable to get in because of quotas.
Unfortunately it is not just the military it is also in the emergency services, and the private sector. I was amazed at how many jobs some young people have had in such a short space of time. This is largely the result of parents and schools not teaching kids discipline and respect.
But the war generation said the same about us 🐱
Tim knows exactly what he’s talking about.
By the same token, the computer based aptitude tests also don't know a candidate's background.
Tim you’re so well spoken and so correct in my opinion. As far as I’m concerned you’re an important British voice we absolutely need in the times to come. Hard times.
Well articulated Tim. In simple terms, people will die if they deploy under command of people who got there through DEI.
PS - You're a smart lad, standards are standards, especially when OC. A shirt and tidy up would not detract from your argument, I would expect you to say the same to me.
Accountability IS the WORD.
Thanks, Tim. Great lad. Pompey lad. Regards, mate.
Equality of outcome in favour of equality of opportunity is flawed by default. It is a nonsense and a bloody insult to any common sense thinking person.
There's been positive discrimination in the Army for years.
Great interview
Preach! Tim is spot on, same with US military
Why give them a chance? They basically inherited their own policies on the whole...
Military recruitment is a joke these days... Nothing to do with not having a robust recruitment system like we sued to though... (Massive part of it in reality).
Well said Tim. Love the jet doesn't know who you are reference. So true.
Combat always finds the weakness in the battle, enough said!
Absolutely on point again Tim
Brilliant interview 🇬🇧
I read the entrance exam papers once for Sandhurst, I thought i was quite bright 😂 taught me a thing or to rather quickly.
bloody hell Tim love the hair mate ,its such a shame that what you said there would never be allowed on the bbc ,i miss the days of john pilger and world in action ,the trouble is that the people upstairs in the club just see us as ants ,savages even ,they see us as a big game to play
Men evolved - over a very long time period - to function in hunting and scouting parties and war bands. These were essentially the same as modern military units. Women evolved to raise children and perform a different range of tasks with completely different group structures and dynamics.
When we insert women into male groups, it throws the natural pecking order and functioning of the group completely out of sync. Cohesion, efficiency and morale diminish. That's not the end of the world if you're running a call center or a factory, it easily could be if you're trapped behind enemy lines or clearing a burning building.
Being now in my 70's of lifelong learning, experience, observation, creativity, understanding, re-examination 24/7 365.
Q: How many global ethnicities were employed in military service from ww1 onwards?
A: All colonial representatives have been employed and are now fully part and parcel of the Western military collectives across all services, and it is now inevitable that in all services diversity is standard and that has been obvious for the last forty years at least.
Not that the diversity recruitment strategy or multi ethnic national service will stop a nuclear war.
Love always
Brilliant Tim! 👍
Common sense right there as usual from Tim , and the worst thing is with Labour in power it’s going to get worse with nandy in charge of culture and the arts

Newbie here, long post. Sorry.
I saw this channel about a week ago in my YT feed after not logging in for a while.
I liked the directness. I liked the leadership lessons (I was a charity food warehouse, chilled van by-hand loader/trainer/supervisor).
But they went woke. And I was replaced by Gov paid for Apprentices, who could not lift a bag of spuds between them.
But I am over that now.

I agree, incredible times that I never thought I'd see, amazing!
Been in 33 years still in and the wokness is bad we have a teamwork day every few months you have to watch videos and have discussions usually a few senior officers talk about subjects it’s like listening to a couple of civilian corporate organisation been involved in multiple Operations in my time as an Infanteer no wonder morale is low 🇬🇧
Challenge it, ask how diversity is really is a strength and then talk about Kosovo, Balkans etc.
Well said Tim 👏
Fantastic appreciate your straight talking common sense. No fannying about. I remember the uk & us woke recruitment videos being compared to the Russian & Chinese equivalents. It was pathetic, ridiculous situation
Also in defence support companies following the same ideology
We have the same issue here in the US. Patriotism is mocked openly and love of country is somehow viewed as childish or even idiotic. Retention is a real issue, and DEI policies are destroying this once great country. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran and abhor what I see going on. Our abandonment of Afghanistan is a cruel scandal, and I weep for the thousands of US troops killed and wounded there for no reason. It pains me to see GBs military in the same boat. I wish I had the answer. God bless the fighting men and women who are true to the cause of freedom and liberty.
Stay safe over there, dangerous times and we all wish your former President a speedy recovery.
Tim is totally correct

Good outspoken down to earth comments.
Class 👍
If applicants have passed the required aptitude and medical standards, then it's purely a case of positive discrimination. It has nothing to do with quality control or operational effectiveness.
It's pretty important they aren't conflated.
It wasn't positive discrimination, which is actually just discrimination, - it's well documented, Sky News did a lot of work on it and the RAF apologised and compensated the 160 pilots affected.
@@FastJetPerformancewell that's 'good' that some kind of justice was served. This interview talks about operational effectiveness; was that ultimately affected in negative way i.e. were standards lowered? My point was that they are two separate problems.
Surely he's joking when he said the RAF recruiters go to Nando's to recruit young people?
You need the best abilityis what matters. They deserve to be paid enough money. They are putting their lives on the line.
