I think there's something gorgeous in how RM turns to uses nature metaphors like waves, the moon and to speak of change and clinging to hope. Pure poetry.. The way he asked "What colour are the waves?" The idea of the once known blue turning white as they crash. Will anything be left behind? Wanting to remain a pebble, staying there despite the waves, hoping to remain come what may, if only he were allowed to.. The small chimney, all he can offer yet a warm hearth of his love.. There's such a heartrending plea.. I'll forever be in love with his lyricism. And his voice as he delivers really makes it hit home. I'm really happy that Joon got to work with eAeon again coz the last time they did, we got Badbye which was also beautiful. Not to mention, RM has a lovely friendship with him so it just really warms my heart.
RM, blue diamond! I really love his sad tone of voice. Check for RM's forever rain, too! This song is so sad, simple, very dreamy, full of honest words, still lyrical. He's a legendary producer, singer, songwriter and performer in the indie scene in SK, known for his experimental synth sounds. It's his song, featuring a verse by RM. Sometimes baby ARMY don't give proper credit to artists who do collabs with members. But Eaeon is the writer and composer of the song. Anyway, this is their second time working together. Eaeon sang the vocals for "Badbye," a song that RM wrote for his own solo mixtape, mono.
RM didn't just feature in this song to sing a part of verses and harmonize with eAeon. RM composed the entire outro part of this song (the humming part at the end) as well as composing and writing the lyrics on his part. eAeon explicitly thanked RM for it in his interviews with Korean media.
