Derek changed my idea of what a magician could be. His work has challenged me to search myself for what I could be as a magician and performer. Some experiences move you and some affect you more completely, in ways you can't fully understand or explain. I am reeling from watching him, forcing myself to consider what I might have to say or share through my own magic.
