    the ondes is monophonic!

      Which makes this so brilliant that he would do multiple dubs using his mastery of the monophonic instrument. Nothing wrong with that. I only wish more musicians had such a good sense of pitch. ( at least I'm assuming there aren't several others playing Ondes Martenot instruments off camera...they aren't as common as Hammond M3's...or should I say S6's!)

      paulj0557 it's just that when you see him perform, you think he is playing what is heard. just as if you saw a solo string player, but heard a quartet. no complaints, just an observation.

      Campbell Daniel Definitely he is playing with pre-recorded material. Still, I think that this demonstrates what it was designed for, and for which even a lot of today's systems cannot do as well.
