That's so true ... I myself think that it's the fear first that makes us avoid conversation in English. I have worked a lot on me too as I had not the learning environment around me so build one for myself. Followed some of her tricks and steps and I'm still learning.

I live with the English language every day and I practice with someone for 30 minutes. However, i also practice speaking English by myself a lot time. The problem is that I cannot talk for a longer period of time with someone. i want to focus on practicing more with someone.

I am also following the same what u told by immersing myself totally watching or reading English content , and definitely it works. The only thing is that i dont find a real person to talk to in English.
I think joining a hobby class/workout class can help with this - finding real people for conversation.
