That 'cup/glass drop' sound is actually intentional .
In most clubs they have these sound cues to tell the performer his/her spot timings, instead of a countdown timer.
The barman makes that sound every 15/30minutes. The actual show was 1.30 hour long.
That's a nice thing to know.
