So glad this is 3rd person. I was worried because most Bethesda games are first person which would suck for this game. I hope it's a big dynamic open world of France with day/night and weather cycles. So hyped for this. Hoping for Marvel cameos too!

If they tie the cameos to the Spirits of Vengeance team he had than fair game, but I hope there's not a lot of cameos as Blade should be the sole focus

I get the fact that Microsoft owns Bethesda now, but this didn't come off like a Xbox exclusive. Let's be honest, something this big being announced from Bethesda, the Xbox logo would have definitely popped up somewhere, so I think it's best for us to wait and see if this is actually an exclusive game before jumping to conclusions.

@@anthonyindiana563 Exclusives shouldn't matter. It's just a game. Both PS and Xbox can make bad Exclusive games. It's also all about the developers and the direction they're going in and so far, it's the right direction for the character
Not every Xbox Exclusive is bad and this dev team has done a good job with the games they've made. Lyon is passionate about this

This reveal must have been so crazy live or in the livestream. I wasn’t able to but I was still hyped even when I knew what to expect
My one BIG concern with this is: Bethesda is making it.
I was kind of excited, but after hearing Bethesda will be making it, my expectations and hype dropped like a rock lmao. Starfield wasn’t all that great after the hype it built up, and they haven’t changed their engine, so I’m expecting it to be kinda mediocre since I’m not expecting Bethesda to make a new engine.
Edit: Ok, I got it wrong. Bethesda is publishing it, but Arkane is making the game. Which isn’t too much better since Arkane made Red Fall and Deathloop, both games were very mixed reviews, but they did make Dishonored. So 1/3 games they’re popular for making was all around good.

Ok, so first things first, it's been confirmed it's gonna be a 3rd person game, so this could be the Blade game everyone been dreaming about.
Second, this is by Arkane Lyon, responsible for good Bethesda published titles such as 'Dishonored' and 'Deathloop' (instead of Arkane Austin, responsible for bad Bethesda published titles such as 'Redfall'), so we might see some similar gameplay from those, which I'd say it's great because it fits the character sooo much.
Third, it's an Xbox exclusive, so I guess we might see some competition here between Marvel games in different platforms, which is great because that will induce studios to up their level. Of course, Blade ain't Spider-Man, but it's still a brand rivalry.
Fourth, I really hope this game doesn't come out before 2026, because if all they got to show was this, then you know they're very far from any sort of actual gameplay, so let the devs cook and the game be the best it can be.
And fifth, I'd prefer if it was set in London instead of Paris, 'cuz Blade is british and people keep forgetting that, but it's cool, let's see how it'll go.

We are getting a Marvel’s Blade game from Bethesda Studios. The people who created the DOOM series. my thoughts on DOOM are undeniable that DOOM is a real man’s game. DOOM will turn you into a Sexual Tyrannosaurus. Just like me. And now the people who made something like that. Are bringing Blade to the gaming world and that is something that I think a lot of people are going to look forward to.
