I just wanted to say how grateful I am that there are channels like yours on this platform. I'm very much an amateur/hobbyist when it comes to magic and mentalism, but I come from an industry that tends to ere on the side of secrecy and like to gatekeep information from newcomers. Channels like this that actually talk candidly about the product and what you get are so important to letting people actually know what they're going to get. Thank you for making the content you do!
Thank you. It means a lot to know my videos really do help and people find them useful. Secrecy is important for some things but not with talking about props and products readily purchasable. I’m just creating the content for people that I wish I had when I was younger.
Definitely a great opening effect. It took me two tries to craft a gimmick I was happy with. Sid recommends super glue however I found it’s a little overkill as there’s good quality paper glue that work really well. I don’t know about the UK but the matchbox he uses isn’t available in the US. To help Penguin has some templates that you can download to make boxes large enough for a stack of halves. Glad you liked it too.
The matchboxes are common in the UK but yes, templates should be available with all purchases of IGNIS. Did you make it for a stack of coins or something else? I like the idea of a sweet (to the give out) or a die that leads in to another effect.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 I made it for US half dollars and quarters using the template. The matchboxes I were readily available were shallower than the ones Sid used however they are perfect for sweets or a folded card.
