I met her once in an elevator when she was leaving Susan De Passe's office. I didn't expect her (and her assistant) to step in behind me, but they did. I'm not shy so I told her I was thrilled to see her in person and that she had the entire building abuzz. She was so sweet and cute when she put her hand to her chest and said, *"Who me?"* I told, her *"Yes! You!! I'm abuzz too!"* She cracked up and really put me at ease. :: I once saw her in concert, and she put on an amazing show. Afterwards, she called her family to the stage and shared with the audience that her dad had died and that from the stage they were all heading to the airport to go to Detroit to bury her dad. What a professional!
I SIMPLY LOVE this woman. I remember seeing her in person at the HOWARD THEATER in Washington, DC -- the show was MOTORTOWN REVIEW (subsequent renamed) MOTOWN REVIEW back in the late late 60's. I was there because The Marvelettes were there too. I was a fan of the Marvelettes, my 1st fan club❤❤❤😂❤❤❤
