This is the impact of rote memorization. I am a Pastor's daughter. Grew up in the church and was taught over and over what I would believe. My father got caught in the Progressive Christianity trap and started teaching that garbage. Because when I was in Elementary school and I learned the Catechism there was this gnawing at my spirit that questioned everything I was taught. My father continued down the path of progressive "reformed" theology and I proclaimed Atheism for 3 years. It was during that when I was saved. Not because I heard a message or a song. I wasn't searching for Jesus, I wasn't searching for anything. I was perfectly happy in my sin. God saved me while I was driving. He shined a massive heavenly light on my sin. I saw my sin, I felt my sin, and I knew how far away my sin was bringing me from God. I knew that I couldn't stop sinning or that anything that I could do would ever be enough to bridge that massive canyon between me and eternal life with him. I knew that no amount of sin was going to heal the emptiness that I was constantly trying to fill. I saw that there was emptiness. That rote memorization that I learned as a young Child was the reason that I knew exactly where to go. I knew the Bible I knew what the voice of God sounded like. Although I had been running away from it my entire life. I knew the voice of religion and the voice of evil even better. But there was this still small voice that I remembered from when I was a kid. Don't ever discount the memorization. I don't remember catechism today (Its on my list of things to work on) but I know that if it wasn't for the memorization and the seeds that were planted in my life when I was a child, I think that I could have easily been lead-off track. "Train a child in the way to go and they will not depart far from it. "

Not a story about apologetics but years ago I had some Jehovah Witnesses that showed up to my neighborhood ( a big group maybe 20- 30 people.) two guys came to my house and we proceeded to have a conversation about the glory of the Almighty and his holy son Jesus Christ . We talked for at least an hour or so and I soon realized that the remaining people had finished their rounds and were waiting for the two guys that I was talking with. Either way they eventually left and over the next few weeks different guys would show up and we’d talk for an hour or two and finally after awhile they literally would simply skip my house. I’m pretty sure the first guys were really asking some questions because they really did bring some higher level people in their organization and I really enjoyed glorifying the Almighty and his holy son Jesus Christ and I pray some of those guys were saved truly during those conversations 🙏

Can I ask for prayer for my adult children, who are not saved? It is breaking my heart and I feel like they are not believing God, because they don't see God healing me, and I believe and love Jesus no matter whether he chooses to heal me or not. Thank you 🙏🏼

Prayers sent my dear. One of my daughters is also wayward and I pray continuously. That’s all we can do. She says all the time she doesn’t belong to my “book club” and laughs. She even told me she believes in Jesus but she’s into new age and “witchcraft” and I believe she’s being demonized. She didn’t tell me and had a priest at her house to stop shadows. He told her if you don’t believe it won’t work. I was shocked as were not Catholic and she won’t tell me much about it although we are close. But if I say anything that has to do with God she tells me I’m pushing her away and if I don’t stop, she will not speak to me. She is the least judgmental person I know so I believe demons are in her because she gets so angry. Please pray for her as well. Her name is Madison. I don’t know how to handle it. I’m so scared for her as she is doing things that are outside of how she was raised. Tattoos of scary things etc. She’s changed so much but I know underneath it all she’s still my sweet daughter that cared about everyone. She’s very awake to what’s going on in the world but won’t give in. I think she wants to keep sinning and will ask Jesus last minute. Anyway, sorry for the book. If anyone knows what to do please help. Thank you so much and God bless anyone reading this. I pray for our Lord to come but I love her so much so I’m putting things aside for her about the tribulation and preparing for her. ✝️🙏❤️🕊

REMEMBER ONLY way to repent and be saved by Christ Acts 11:14-18, Luke 11:9-13 , Zeph 3:9/acts2:4 and John 17:20-26. Just follow only the early church gospel tradition teaching, not different churches ways but Jesus will guide and teach you personally to the end. John 10:1-6,11-16 , Acts 4:12 , 1 John 2:24-25 and John 13:17!

....Yes ...l come across them daily. Not everyone who confesses Christ is of Christ. Remember we need the New Birth...the Indwelling Holy Spirit. And Jesus said "He is the Spirit of truth....and will bring all things to your remembrance that l have said unto you." They are like the Pharisee's...commanding people to keep the Law and Sabbath. But we Gentiles never kept the Sabbath to begin with. The Disciples started gathering and preaching on the Lord's Day. Acts 20:7. They are Deceived as well as deceivers. Most of them barely focus on Christ and the Good News. The Law is a Stumbling block before them. Be wary of them. God Bless you ..📜🌷✝️

@@michellecheriekjv4115 thank you for the comment.. I think the “Torah obeying” types have other issues going on as well, much like cult members. They read things into the Scriptures rather than exegete in a wise manner. The new translations of the Bible do not help either, as they change doctrines rather than staying true to the original manuscripts. Anyway, appreciate your feedback. We have to keep defending truth against heresy and bad teachings. God bless.

It’s impossible to obey the Torah, do they eat out on the sabbath, walk or drive any distance from their home, do any type of work like wash dishes etc on the sabbath? There are over 600 rules in it. If they believe they need to follow it are they also doing the sacrifices?

@@darbyc1936 good point. There’s a difference in some where they believe the correct thing of Jesus did everything and there’s nothing we can do to get to Heaven. I was following one who said that his real walk with God did not truly begin until he started keeping the Sabbath. Not that he received salvation...the New Birth.... but the Sabbath. He pushes the Sabbath and the law. He also pushes people not to go to church. It's very, very sad. We are a New Testament Church. God Bless. 📜🙏

Satan tried to get the Galatians Christians to submit to circumcision as seen in Galatians Chapter 1. Paul said NO!
Satan tries to get Christians to submit to the Old Testament water baptism of the Jews. Paul is not here. Who will say NO?
Who will add Old Testament water baptism to their gospel?
All denominations add water baptism to
the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4.

    • @mathewrichards2713

No. Baptism doesn’t save you it is the point in which you enter into the death burial and resurrection of Christ Rom 6.
Praying Jesus into your heart is false doctrine
      “Just believing “
Even the demons do that and shudder
So baptism is very much part of Christian NT faith along with repentance proved by deeds - John the Baptist Luke 2

@@mathewrichards2713 Below, I have provided how sins were remitted in the gospel of the kingdom and forgiven in the gospel of Christ (gospel of the grace of God). I have also explained how salvation was achieved in each gospel.
GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - Before Christ's Ministry:
SINS - were remitted by the sacrifice of animals.
SALVATION - was by works and belief in God and following the Law of Moses, that the priests taught.
GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - During and after Christ's Ministry:
SINS - were remitted by "confessing their sins," during water baptism (Matthew 3:6), and belief (Acts 10:43) in Jesus Christ as their Messiah and King.
SALVATION - was by works and striving till the end and keeping the Law of Moses. This gospel was taught by Jesus (while on earth) and Peter and the 11.
GOSPEL OF CHRIST (GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD) that ONLY Paul taught:
SINS - of the entire world were forgiven on the cross.
SALVATION - is by believing the gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection.
