I’d love to see eye shadow comparisons between the luxury brands. Chantecaille, Clé de Peau, Surratt and Victoria Beckham. Great to hear your opinion on the eye liners. I was going to pick up the Chanel Navy for upper waterline but I’ll now look at the Chantecaille instead! Still waiting for the new CDP solos to be available in the states. Dying to try the light one you got and reviewed. Thanks as always! My fav channel on here.
@@12prettythings10 Is the green you’re referring to called ‘Black Forest’ and the copper one called ‘Jasper’? Can I use any eye pencil sharpener with them? Thanks for your suggestions!
Hi Lisa, Love Chanel. Chantecaille is ok . For me only what really wins over Chanel is powder. The rest I prefer Chanel. Chanel has themes, it’s just like lifestyle. Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I love Chanel and Chantecaille both beautiful brands, I own more chantecaille than Chanel but every time I watch your videos I love and want to go purchase all of it , cause you speak so well and so thoroughly about the products thanks for sharing hugs from Florida
Hi Lisa! I absolutely agree on the Chantacaille's powder formulas for the Soft Focus Blur Powder, Lotus Radiant Blur Powder, Bronzer in Sirena (absolutely loving this one!), Philanthropy Blush in Bliss, and do love the Chantacaille Mermaid Eyeshadows & Luminescent Eyeshadow singles! Very tempted to try the liners, they sound like a great formula! I still do love the Chanel Foundation, Lipsticks, and some of the Eyeshadows, however, I am also not impressed with the current blush or bronzer formulas. It feels like they just don't pick up well and don't have that finely milled texture that blurs into the skin. ❤
SO happy we share so many of the same favorites! ❤ And SO glad you are loving the Sirena bronzer! It's truly an underrated product!! ❤ Hoping Chanel comes out with some great reformulations to add to their line!
So nice hearing about the liners! I have 2 from Chantecaille😊 I'm cautious w purchases this year and haven't bought anything in 2 months😅 still thinking about the Chantecaille eyeshadow trios though and the new Tarte face palette. I'm doing a make up inventory and teensy bit of decluttering but there is really so much I don't need /like 🥴I admire people who have the willpower to do a refresh. I think a lot of us would do differently now that we know our make up tastes better
Hello Lisa 😊so excited for this!!! Hope you're doing well😊😁 Who wins this battle? I just so love your reviews!! And how you enjoy your favourites. Many buy without thinking if they will use a product or have similar products. You hardly find good reviews but only first impressions and at the end of the year the products are barely used and forgotten. Not with you!! You know what you like and we can see your faves regularly. I often ask around after the fact if someone still uses or likes a prior recommend/fave product and I am not lying when I say in 90% of cases the influencer does 1. Not even remember the product or 2. Tells me they haven't used it for months or 3. It was decluttered. And I only ask about items that were highly recommended or hyped and people were told they should get it.
Aw thank you so much!! Haha oh my goodness that is wild!! I can't imagine having that much makeup that you forget. Sometimes youtube channels can seem so unauthentic and like they are just trying to make a quick buck (not everyone of course), but it's something I notice a lot lately, which is why I wanted to make my channel more curated and thoughtful - hopefully it is helpful to more people that way!
I'm almost out of my Sublimage Teint in the jar, and salivating over the L'essence de Teint-and I can't think of another brand that would compare, so I will push that button and purchase it!
Thank you for explaining why my chantik high perfect blur powder seems thicker on my skin, I never could figure it out and now I understand I need to be very sparing and use a smaller brush more precisely to get the desired effect :)
The Chanel eyeliners are too firm, I’d say hard. I’ve thought of trying Chantecaille at the next sale. Thanks for including them. I like a super soft next to liquid like Victoria Beckham. Hope you’re feeling well! I’d give the lipstick (not balm) to Sisley!
Hi Lisa, Interesting comparison! :) From Chantecaille I like: Future Skin Foundation - if I need to cover imperfections I use Dior Skin Forever Concealer. I just love this foundation and the only downside is the packaging. Mascara is very good but my HG is Hermes mascara. So Chantecaille mascara is next choice after Hermes. :) Blushes are nice but not better than Armani, Gucci, Hermes or Guerlain. I didn’t try the eyeliner pencils because I prefer liquid eyeliner much more. My HG is Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen. Her powders are ok but a bit dry for my skin. I prefer the pressed powder from Sisley and Hermes. Lipsticks are perfection. 😍 I also like her face brushes- Buff&Blur (regular and mini) and Cheek brush. I have 2 Buffer Pro brushes from Sonia G which I love but these are very good as well. The best vegan brushes are from Rae Morris and I am very surprised that nobody talks about them. They are handmade in Japan, look beautiful, have magnetic wood handles, mimic squirrel hair (very soft) and perform like a dream. Personally I tend to use more vegan brushes for face because they are more resilient to frequent washing than the ones with natural hair. From Chanel I like eyeshadows, Sublimage l’essence de teint (the cons in comparison with Chantecaille foundation - has too much fragrance and is a bit flat), the Sublimage concealer and the nail polishes. The lipsticks are nice but I like more the ones from Chantecaille, Guerlain and YSL. I know that Chanel will reformulate the eyeshadows and I hope will do something with their blushes. Thanks for sharing!🙂
THANK YOU so much for sharing your favorites!!! Love to hear it!! 🧡🧡 I am SO curious to see the Chanel eyeshadow reformulation!! Hopefully it will be a step up!
Hi!! So sorry for the late reply - it is a Sonia G Brush! I think she doesn't sell this one anymore - but the most similar brush would be the Fundamental Builder M (link here: go.magik.ly/ml/213g8/ ) her brushes are absolutely amazing!! I use them for everything!!
The Chantecaille mascara is my holy grail for sure. For a change, I bought the Gucci one on sale. I barely notice I'm wearing mascara, am I missing something? YSL didn't do it for me either.
I don't think you are missing anything! ❤ The Chantecaille is a gorgeous mascara, and mascaras just work differently for everyone, so what works for me might not work for you! ❤ I wish they would come out with the Chantecaille mascara in a brown - that would be incredible!
Ok so these are my favorites too , BUT I am medium skin tone with NEUTRAL LEANING COOL undertone and CHANEL is much better for that .. in my opinion .. I can’t get the RIGHT match in CHANTECAILLE and believe me .. I have spent a lot of money trying … lol
Haha great point!!! ❤ Chanel is MUCH better with their shade range - I also find Chantecaille VERY hard to colour match and wish I mentioned that in this video!! Chantecaille's shades are a bit odd and I know they have that "colour adapting" foundation, but that doesn't colour adapt for me either and I can't find a shade that works with the cushion. Chanel is much better suited for different undertones that's for sure, although I know they could also do better with deep tones, but they have the fair-light-medium tones perfected!

I've probably gone through 30 Chantecaille eyeliners. Love the olive green(it's hard to describe what a great color it is) and copper

Sorry for the late reply!! Yes - the Chantecaille liners are AMAZING! So creamy and long lasting! ❤
What a great video idea - love both brands. Hope you’re feeling good Lisa ❤ been thinking about you after your update video
Thank you so much for the kind words!!! ❤❤
What a great comparison review. Love Chantecaille and Cle de Peau so I can't wait for your next review!
Thank you! ❤❤
Love this series. Your makeup is perfect

I did. Arriving tomorrow 🙌
I love this série ! Would love a Surratt versus another brand comparable…. Sisley ? Merci
LOVE that idea!! Thank you! ❤
Thank you for explaining why my chantik high perfect blur powder seems thicker on my skin, I never could figure it out and now I understand I need to be very sparing and use a smaller brush more precisely to get the desired effect :)
You are so welcome!! Products can work so terribly if you don't know the perfect application tips, so I always feel that's important to share! ❤

Great idea!!! Definitely! ❤

Hi ! I'm 65 ay I ask your mom's favorite primer ? I love your videos ❤
She loves the Chantecaille rose face tint and the Chantecaille SPF primer! Otherwise, she just uses her SPF as primer! 🩷

I heard the tower28 mascara has the same effect as the chantecaille.
Ohh!! Got to try that one!! Thank you! ❤
which blush brush are you using ?
Rae Morris Kabuki!! (link: go.magik.ly/ml/213g8/ ) - it is my perfect blush brush! ❤
