No matter how much talent an artist has, I am definitely influenced by what kind of person he or she is. If I have no liking or respect for the artist, I won't support his work by buying his cds or DVDs. The more I know Home Free's members, the more I admire and respect them. Each one is a fine human being, as well as a fine artist. I own all but 2 of their cds, and have gone to 3 concerts so far. They are A-OK in my book.

If you have a few hours (in chunks of time), Chris Rupp (cowboy hat) interviews all of the guys except Chance and it gives a history of how they began. Elizabeth at The Charismatic Voice does a wonderful interview with Tim. Patrol Nation did an interview with Austin (others have interviewed Austin, I just can’t remember who). It’s always fun for me to spot the guys’ spouses and/SOs plus their friends that pop up randomly in videos (one of Tim’s friends is in this one). If you watch some of Tim Eats _______, you “meet” a number of those friends. Their personalities show through a lot in their behind the scenes (From the Vault) videos.

Yes yes yes! And yes Tim’s voice is just like it sounds here when he is talking! During live performances they have “story time with Tim” where he talks……well he does most of the talking at all the live performances. And yes they are very close knit group! I guess they kinda have to be because they put on over 250 live shows a year!
I guess where I saw them first and really got to know them some was when they were on the Sing off. If you do a search for the sing off home free all performances you will get to see all of their performances and interviews through that show.

One of Austin's lines, when people show up late to the show is, "We aren't rock stars, we start on time!" If you can believe the behind he scenes footages, they are great friends. The covid lockdown was hard on them because they were used to being together for 150 shows a year and suddenly they were spread across the US. I think that is part of the magic in their music - they not only harmonize vocally but in everything, and it shows in their perfomances.

Home Away From Home is a mix of everything from the guys' family lives, shooting videos, life on tour, rehearsals, etc.

Home Free also has collaborations with Kenny Rogers, Lee Greenwood, Texas Hill, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Peter Hollens, Billy Gilman and the Oak Ridge Boys. 2 of them (Tim Foust - bass,, long black hair) and Austin Brown (high tenor, long reddish hair) are also song writers and Home Free has original songs by them (and they also have original songs on their own channels). Tim's song "What's Left of My Heart" and Austin's "Love Me Like That" are among those. Their newest original is "So Long Dixie" by Tim, Austin and a frequent collaboration Chris Chatham.

I think their camaraderie is helped that they all have outside interests beside being in Home Free. Tim Foust and Austin Brown both have solo channels where they play with friends with instruments. The two of them had a few of those friends join them for "My Maria." Which may have led to the birth of their outside group called Sweet + Low Music Co, which also has its separate YT channel. Chris Rupp has since left HF to produce and perform solo (mostly christian music I think) and with Cypress Fyre and (with sister Tristin +2 others) 7th Ave. Adam Chance (goes by Chance) who took his place performs solo and with The Hound + The Fox. Rob (glasses) has a movie review podcast The Avid Indoorsmen. Adam is a D&D enthusiast. So, they aren't tied strictly to Home Free and aren't stuck to it to keep the others employed.

I think it would be so awesome to have a party with the guys sometime. 😁I think it's all fun. 😅 That's one of the things that draws me to Home Free. The brotherhood, the friendship and the personalities they radiate. Even Chris Rupp (brother of Adam Rupp) left the group in 2016, they remained connected. Adam Chance who replaced Chris was already friends with Home Free.

One of the secrets to Home Free's awesome sound and loyal fan base is that there are no egos in Home Free. They serve the music instead of trying to make the music serve them. Everyone of them gets a chance to shine at one point or another. There's no one "front man." I love seeing the wives and significant others in their videos. It makes it feel even more like family. And since you reacted to Luciano Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma, Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist of Home Free also did their version of Nessun Dorma, which you should also check out. FYI Rob studied singing Opera while in College, so he is very good.

Not sure if anyone has told you but Tim Foust has a 5+ octave range. Their beatboxer Adam has won at least 2 world championships.

Another reactor Patrol Nation just did Home Free from the vault, check that one, as it shows how close these guys are .
There has been one big change Chris Rupp left in 2015 -16 and Adam Chance took over as baritone/bass.(called Chance, cause all ready had an Adam.)

A good way to start to get to know them is the Sing Off performances (but the the separate ones that have the intros talking with them and the reaction of the judges afterwards not the one with all the performances because these parts were you can hear them talk about themselves is cut out there). Another great one to get see their funny side is Guilty Pleasures ruclips.net/video/tQl_g10Dw-8/видео.html and Southerner in the Snow - about Tim's trip to Minnesota to visit Adam (beatboxer) during a winter vortex - the thing is hilarious. Anything from their concerts labeled "Storytime with Tim" is legendary, practically a stand-up comedy about things that happened during their trips. But even watching their videos - like this one - you will get to know their friends, families, wives, girlfriends, children and even pets as they often participate in their videos, or special songs/videos like Spaceship (about Rob's son being born|, Die a happy man (about Tim getting engaged to his now wife Jenika) the same for Chance proposing to Sami - Cover Me Up. That's why they feel like kind of family to their fans.

You need to watch them on “The Sing Off.” Then watch Pentatonix on their season. PTX won season 3 and Home Free won season 4. Both well deserved.

Oh his voice is that low! Austin is higher, Mr social butterfly, Rob is in between, Chance is lower end tenor baritone, Adam Rupp is quite, tenor. Still want them to be goggle's map voices!

Check out the Home Free Home Away From Home and the From the Vault series of videos for behind the scenes and other stuff, You'll hear them speak. Some of them are visits to their hometown family for Chance and Austin and to his home for Adam. Home Free Eats (6 of those) are also interesting. Those are hosted by the big foodie that is Tim Foust.

Love you a ton.. welcome to the Home Fries rabbit hole.. New sub here.. Enjoy your HF journey.. there isnt a song they do that isnt a great one.. This video shows Chris Rupp... Adam the beatboxers brother.. . He left to pursue his own career and then Adam Chance joined the group. They are Tim Foust super bass.. and super tenor, too!.. he is reputed to have a 5 octave range.. he is amazing, Austin Brown.. High Tenor from Georgia, Adam Rupp Beatboxer .. so incredibly talented... and Rob Lundquist- the whistling bearded soulful tenor.. Rob and Adam Rupp are from Minnesota. Both Tim Foust and his wife, Jenna Marion and Austin Brown and his lady love, Amberly live is Nashville now. I could go on and on... make sure you listen to the stuff at the end.. you sometimes learn interesting tidbits! Stay safe!

Love your reactions to this amazing group😊..they have so many good songs..to see their really funny side you should watch the 'Butts Remix'. And like other comments have said, the women in their videos are their wives which makes it cool. They are in a lot of them. Their 'Hillbilly Bone' is epic too. I imagine you just picked up a bunch of subs and now I'm one too..😊oh, and I'm in Texas too
