Western Australia is one of the most isolated and low population temperate areas on Earth, so not surprised that it's found there. Hopefully Australia can keep it that way, though Australia's government seems determined to grow the population nationwide via mass immigration from populous countries

Awesome footage of a seldom- acknowledged species. What a massive school! I have heard they tend to school in large numbers like this near the Hawaiian islands- where did you film this? It’s the best footage of the slender mola I have seen thus far, although I wonder why such a large, lively, and presumably healthy school were almost beaching themselves line that... 🧐
