I’m not gonna lie, I may have teared up a bit watching Kirbo bring Christmas and the spirit of the season to a family in need. If there’s anyone who practices what he preaches, it’s Kirbo.

The last scene with Kirbo cleaning the dishes while the waddle dees relax made me cry. The rest of the video was wonderful, absolutely a beautiful sentiment, but the simple act of him continuing to give of himself after the evening was done is just a sweet thing. Kirbo is too good for this world.

I'm not religious anymore, but i still come back to these Kirbo videos cause I love seeing how wholesome he is and how his faith makes him a good person. It's a nice little reminder that, while I'm no longer a practicing Christian, that not everyone who is Christian is a bigoted, mean spirited or ignorant person. There are many who are genuinely kind, giving and do a lot of good.

Real Christians are like Kirbo, the other ones only claim to be.
To become a Christian means to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As overused as that statement is in many online medias, it's the darned truth. What's important is that you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, not that you go to Church or pray or help the sick and poor or any of that.
But aside from that mini-lecture, I totally agree with your comment. Kirbo is one of my favorite animated characters ever.

@@IvanPetrov-wb1vb You would think so, right? If you looked at the state of humanity both across history and in the modern world, it becomes evident that people as a whole are incredibly corrupt. Think of all the violence, crime, wars, mass murders, political/social scandals, etc. etc. that happen on a yearly basis. It's disgusting, revolting even. The selfishness, the hate, the greed... what kind of omnipotent, omniscient being would even try to redeem something like that? Let alone come down to *die* for something like that? It can only one that is as loving as it is powerful. I think these two verses together sum it up nicely:
*John 3:16 NIV "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."*
*Romans 8:38-39 NIV "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I mean, there you have it. He sacrificed everything for the sake of us, not because we did anything special, but because He created us and He loves us. And so, if He loved us enough to send his Son to die for us, despite us not doing anything to deserve it, why then would we get to Heaven and He hold that over our heads? There are certainly rewards, both in this world and in the eternal, for showing the appreciation of our salvation by sharing the gospel with others and obeying God's Word. But for those who were saved late in their life and never got the chance to do so, God doesn't begrudge them His mercy.
Can I just say how absolutely wholesome that was. The fact that Kirbo actually felt truly sorry for the Waddle Dee family just shows how much he truly cares in helping others. This just makes me love Kirbo even more showing not only he is hilarious, but also extremely adorable on being responsible.

I once posted a comment similar to yours on a Beluga video. I was talking about character development and how cool it was that Beluga could have such deep character relationships while also using tons of memes to make it all funny.

There's always an underlying maturity and kindness that are put in these videos alongside the humor. This got me along with the Yoshi dad being freed and given restitution. To me, that really says a lot about the creators. ¡Feliz Navidad para todos!

Oh man, I watched this at just the right time. My entire December has been going down the toilet, with so much anxiety and worry and things going wrong... I left the tab open two weeks earlier and decided to finally give this a watch.
Man... being Christian myself, I legit cried at Kirbo's prayer. Heck, I'm still crying. Everything's been hell, but you really put a smile on my face that I needed. I just needed everything that was in here.

I will say(granted this is very late now in comparison) that I definitely loved how wholesome this animation was. But also seeing Elfilin near the end has me excited for any future entries in Kirbo's adventure.
Not sure why, but I got really emotional towards the end. The music and the delivering of the letter…it was beautiful.
The fact that we go from 1000 to 0 is real nice, the wholesome Simon being to big to almost not fit in the house gave me a verbal giggle.

A day after I saw this video, I was driving home from school and saw a mother holding a sign that was saying she and her 2 children were refugees and they were in need of help.
It wasn’t much but I thought of this video and what Kirby said, so I gave her all the pocket change I had in my car. Im still praying for her and hoping that she and her children get better and through tougher times.

Not only do you want to prove that you can handle anything and protect the ones you love, but doing so can make those people feel like a burden on others. As much as we like to get upset at them, it's important to remember that they're people too.

I've been in both situations and I"m actually in that situation now where I am with my family taking care of my parents and we are literally drowning, and my Dad makes the money. My mother and I can't work and I take care of the household as much as I can at this point; and no help is coming either. Please pray for us this Christmas, my Father especially.

@@jokelethkurueisner9229 i'm going to go on a limb and assume that mr waddle dee is in sales and marketing. that department tends to be the first to get cut during a recessionary period; followed by HR. Given his age, it's somewhat unlikely he's in the engineering department, and he doesn't look like like the type to be in the finance or management department either.
the nice thing though is that in the waddle dee town, there is an explicit line item saying they are looking for marketing people. and then everyone cheered. so i'm gonna guess waddle dee town is about to gain an awesome marketing executive and now more and more people are going to know about waddle dee town.

I love this so much. Just pure, wholesome love and community. No hyperactive destructive comedy, no explosions, just Kirbo and friends doing their best to make someone happy. Not that I dislike the super hyper and fast-paced comedy of this channel, I love it! But it's nice to slow down sometimes and just make someone happy. While I'm not religious by any means, I wish to always hold these similar ideals of communal support and solidarity that Kirbo exemplifies. Happy holidays everyone! I love you all! ♡
