Wow, this video truly brought tears to my eyes. You have done such a great job bringing out what true life is like in China, both the bad and the good! It’s such a breath of fresh air. As someone who was born in China, grew up in Canada, and now living in HK, I see the stark difference in narratives surrounding China. And what has made me so sad the last few years is all the negativity toward China and it’s people. I really wish more people back in the west can see your perspectives on China, and I’m sure you will have 100k, 200k or more subscribers in no time and get that message even more out there! Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you so much for providing your perspective on China. Although I too have shared by positive views about traveling in China I’ve been accused of being too biased about my opinions. I guess there are too many Americans that have bought in on the negative narrative about China and it’s people which is constantly being perpetuated by our politicians and media outlets.

China isn't perfect for sure, but neither is my country (Canada) and in Canada we are missing a lot of these important points, especially convenient public transportation and safety in our bigger cities. @@AleeseLightyear Hope you all the best and happy every day in China. About 12 years ago, when I was a student in Beijing, the public transportation is much cheaper, it costs only 2RMB for a ticket of subway. And the student bus card costs only 0.2RMB for taking a bus. It is crazy cheap. The annual park pass only costs 100RMB, with which you can go to all the parks in Beijing, except the Forbidden City, as many as you want. However, the air pollution in Beijing was so bad at that time. It seems that the air quality has improved a lot.
Thanks for sharing Aleese. Public violence is out of control and seems to be getting worse in the States. (Many businesses are significantly impacted losing hundreds to millions of dollars to the point of closing). Crime happens in nice, expensive neighborhoods too now that are supposed to be "safe". A few weeks ago, two dentists in an upper middle class suburb in Texas were shot and killed because they were booked and couldn't see the patient that day. Just a couple of days ago, there was a mass shooting in a subway car in Brooklyn NY. Not sure what's going on but people are on edge.
