Hi ryan i really need ur help ive been practicing alot ive made no improvments and just feels demotivating what should i like i know i should practice more but there feels like im doing something wrong while i practice
Warm up ball handling 1. Finishes against contact 10 each side 2. Reverse lays each side 3. 2 dribble pullups into the middle 4. 1 or 2 dribble pullups going baseline 5. Attacking from both wings off pick&roll or down screen or just attack, change it up 3s midrange and lays 6. Attacking wings and scoring 7. Coming off pick&roll and scoring 8. Shooting, stepping into your shot💯😎
Thanks for this, I’ve been going to court and ever since I’ve been watching you I’m starting to get my non dominant hand really strong and hitting more shots and adding more moves to my bag
Honestly, the way the game is now, the only difference between a guard and a forward is size. You can still use these drills even if you're a 4 or 5. It will help with footwork in the post. Learn guard skills first, then if you grow tall enough to play the 4 and 5, then you can concentrate your workouts on your position. But you have to work on all aspects of your game, not just for the position you play
Hey I have question does this count as a skill workout or a shooting because you said that we need to have a skill and shooting workout in our day. So does this count as both or will I have to do another?

take a day break and comeback also if your not going a 110% during your workouts you may not see progress and also incorprate what you worked on/ learn during games thats the best to see your progress and know what your doing. Then lastly record yourself and actually see what it is your doing wrong or see what you could have done better. This have worked for me
What kinda practice u doing? Don't be doing different things every day. Work on your shooting by just doing 150-200 shots a day from the EXACT SAME POSITION (pick any u want) for 1 week (will maybe take you 30-40 mins) and u will see results improvement in your shot I guarantee. That's how I practiced my shooting. It's all muscle memory

Hey coach, when you dribble a basketball do you wide yo hand and does it touch the palm?
As a guard if you go up against a big is it better to do a contact finish or a more of a finesse layup.
Contact is usually better. You either make it. End up at the line or both
