I loved the black lace dress and the floral dress. It perfectly complimented her classic and elegant beauty. I also loved the blue dress/green boots ensemble. There is supposedly a meaning to that scene. It gives nod to the other members---the blue dress is for Jennie's blue dress in SOLO; the green boots is for Rosé's green fur coat in GONE, and the yellow building is a nod to Lisa as yellow is her favorite color. Like the purple dress, she puts on layers in her chest. The same with the red with black dress look, so her silhouette doesn't look so obviously. But yeah I think they could do better. Oh and the purple dress I saw it on the runway show its originally crumpled, but idk.. 😅

The street background in the MV was filmed on Universal Movie Studio lot. They even filmed it on films instead of digital giving a nod towards her acting in Snow Drop

Yes! I was looking forward to your reaction to this song because there were so many beautiful outfits. I mean, to me, this whole music video felt like one giant high fashion ad video. You know, like as if you were flipping through a fancy fashion magazine. The backgrounds were also so beautiful and added so much more to the styling, making each scene a complete picture. The red and black look made me think of IU for some reason. With the newspaper look, I actually like the tights. I think it would look a bit weird without them, and at least less impressive. Will you cover the Hanteo Music Awards some day?
I think the red and black style is more like a statement for the MV and the visual for the dance. I doubt that it’s meant to be a look for an everyday or casual wear 😂 I love all of their outfits. All of them have a meaning in the different stages of love. My favorite is the sequen shining dark gray outfit. That’s an awards outfit in my opinion. Thanks for the breakdown

It's the prefect combination of frills and details. And the front slit just gives it a stronger presence as you see her strut. I also disliked the red and black outfit but I think it was meant to be jarring considering the lyrics of the song. I loved the purple dress outfit. It felt like lingerie and gave I just got out of bed, sexy vibes. If they had done full opaque tights I think it would have leant more costumey and I'd have disliked it more but the break of skin between the thigh high tights and dress made it more pleasing. I’m so happy for her finally getting her solo she deserves it. This song is honestly a bit of a grower, but I liked it better than Lisa’s solo as a whole. My favorite is either the light blue look with the graphic corset dress on top(I usually don’t like layers and I didn’t like the Jimmy Fallon SD outfit that is similar to it but this one is so cute) or the all purple look. She looks absolutely gorgeous in the MV

Totally agree ~ the floral dress, pink, and the blue dress (though the green boots don’t quite work for me) looks are so beautiful! The red/black and purple looks are just not it.
The MV is gorgeous, Jisoo looks beautiful and the styling was fantastic. The whole thing is like a Dior ad. I'm just not sure how I feel about it as an MV... it makes a great ad but it feels like the music, dancing, and storytelling took a backseat to the beautiful visuals. The most MV-like element, her dance segment in the red tights, was coincidentally my least favourite look as well.
Let’s be real. She served on fashion, but on nothing else. To me, the MV and the song were a big letdown. It’s sad that the most exciting thing in a music video are the outfits. It’s a pass for me, but to each their own.
The outfit are amazing but the problem is that i feel like that the highlight point is only the outfits, like as YG give all the budget on the outfit that the song. The song for me is Solo (Jennie's song) but less polished, because both songs have a similar vibe, but Solo is really good in comparison I didn't heard the other song yet
