48 years ago, an 18-year-old girl heard Born to Run for the first time and it settled forever into her heart... she sang it many times to her own daughter over the years. 28 years ago, I was a troubled, closeted 14 year old gay boy with a lot of Catholic guilt and a huge chip on my shoulder...then one day when I was in the car with my parents, out of the radio came this incredibly forceful kick drum fill and amazing guitar riff...even before he sang a single word of those great lyrics, my life was changed. I just asked, "Who IS this??" My mother answered, "Oh, that's Bruce, your dad loves him, he's got all the records at home if you want to listen." That was the start of a journey that brought me to Wrigley Field on both Wednesday and Friday, my thirteenth and fourteenth shows. That song kicked open the door to my mind and made me realize you don't just need to have hope, you have to act on it. I acted on it, and now I have a wonderful boyfriend, several good friends, one of whom I took to see Bruce at Wrigley Field on Friday...he said it was one of the best nights of his life.
This was my thirteenth show. Been a fan since I was 13, turned 41 about three weeks after the concert, and have been grabbing every show I could reasonably afford since the reunion tour when I was 17...took one my best friends who also got into him when we were 13, but had never seen him before...and I got us on the fucking Field. So...this isn't the best E Street show I've seen (which would be St. Louis 08/26/2008) it is a special one for me.
Went to wensday night show with my 2 sisters and had a wonderful time!!! Friday night was just as wonderfully exciting ...he is the only and only boss and the band remains the best👍👍👍👍💜💜💜💜💜
Pretty incredible. Saw a show in St Paul Minnesota snow on the ground after the show. Been following the tour through RUclips. The smiles and comments about how E Street connects us is magic.
I've seen 16 of Boss's European concerts hoping to listen to Rosie, but in vain. one of the best experiences of my life!!! so now I'm going to get at least one concert ticket until December and finally listen to!!! best, Alessandro

I was there, nosebleed seats, you could feel the breeze coming off of Lake Michigan. Been watching him do this for 39 years.🎉
