Me, dad and my sister go for a dog walk on old permission. We find empty warrens that used to have a lot of rabbits. We race the dogs and let them cool down in the river and lakes.

Yes mate. It would be nice. I might not hit them as hard and try keep a healthy number. But somebody else might not. That's why when it's not past control it's not a bad just bolting to the dogs and giving the rabbits a better chance of survival because nets are deadly.

Like the dogs mate have 2 myself one like bud but longer hair I bred from my old stock ,saluki greyhound x bull greyhound dam,an sire was saluki greyhound x collie x whippet greyhound .
An got a bedlington x lurcher of the free ads at 12 month old.

Yes mate I got the bug back for making videos. Only problem now is my laptop is struggling to keep up with the editing. It took 5 hours to turn that video into a video file I could upload to here.then another hour to upload to RUclips.

We caught too many and a few others had the same permission. Then mixy hit hard and it's a popular walk for dog walkers.

Thank you. We are lucky to have the cameras and phones now and thankfully all those photos and videos haven't been lost. My little baby sis that came with us ferreting is 14 this Sunday. Spending time with the family is so important, I cant wait to be taking my young boys with me and filming them. I think I will be taking my step lad this season and maybe Elijah who's 17 months now.

Yes mate I'm not far away. I hadn't done much locally but noticed a lack of rabbit but plenty of hares. What dog you run?

can't really ferret till november as my young ferrets won't be ready till around then.i have 2 kits off vin.i don't lamp anymore i longnet instead so will mooch with the dog anytime now & longnet when we get a decent wind.
@@fredreddog8806 Do you use traditional or quicker. I got a 50yrd quick set and some traditional ones. I might even try net a hare soon.
@@reynoldsoutdoors3055 i have always used traditional nets. i have never tried a quickset.i prefer netting in pairs but often find myself alone so 2 50 yard nets & i find backpegging easier.
